My wife and I had a very good experience at this hotel. Its location is great, with access to restaurants and the lagoon within three blocks. People at the reception are very nice and friendly. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and the hotel has a nice terrace on the second floor for guests to use and relax. Only comment is that the design of the curtains in the room allows for some outside light to enter at night. We had to use a blanket on top of the curtain to make it dark inside, not a big deal, though. I would definitely come back.

The place is clean, and the location is exellent 2 minutes from the lagon and has air conditioner. The sheets are not soft but bed and pillows are comfy. Be aware that is second floor .

The room was clean and comfortable. Had great WiFi connection. They topped up the fridge with 2 small bottles of water everyday which was really helpful. The location is on the square which was a great. We walked to and from the Ado bus stop, around 20min away. We stayed for 3 nights and did most of the things we could in Bacalar. It’s a beautiful location.

Actually I have stayed there before and was happy with the staff, facilities and stay. This trip was not so pleasant and it all started with the clerk at the desk. Being the area is under construction with streets and limited access we simply came to the property as we arrived into the city and wanted to pre-check in. When I approached the desk and inquired about checking in, the lady simply made a hand gesture referring to the "check in is at 3:00PM sign. Now, being a tourist and simply addressing the front desk and to receive this type of "RUDE" greeting was a turn off. And, the service at the restaurant area was the same...I could clearly understand why the restaurant across the sidewalk was full and people were happily enjoying themselves and your facility had NO patrons. This is NOT hospitality from where we come from!

The hotel is centrally located. The room was clean, the AC worked and was quiet. There was, however, construction going on next door. Most, rooms face it. The building next door (or 2 doors down) is having a 2nd level added to it.

Great place. small but cheap so I would say worth it since you are two blocks from the water. restaurant downstairs will give you discount when you eat there. Definitely try the Chillequilles from Mestizos with eggs and res/beef. Incredible and this is coming from a Mexican.
