Great room at a great price.

As I am asking for direction to a security person He told you want to take pictures? I said no I have reservation! He told me it was not safe for a senior lady alone in a jaguar. So I thanked him and went on my way looking for other accommodations! Thank him profusely!

It’s not hot from outside, I love this Motel.

Where do I start?! We were given the room everything looked good from the outside, nice and cute until you open the door. The bedding was clean the pillows were adequate. The mattress was average economy Hotel. However, they could stand to at least wipe all the grungy handprints off the switch covers and walls! Drip marks on the walls splatter marks on the ceiling, grout in the shower enclosure was obviously not cleaned Within months if not years! The shower head was old looked very corroded and it almost looks like someone used Flex a seal or electrical tape on it! The window in the bathroom had very visible mildew all around it. And please answer me why hotels just spackle and paint like they're drunk LOL a little TLC and wiping down the walls after they're treated correctly would make the place look so much better! The unit we were in had absolutely no Furnishings except for the bed, a table and two fixed kitchen type chairs. There was no nightstands at all. The vanity was one of those small ones like you would put in a washroom with literally no counter room on it whatsoever. Next to it was a small refrigerator which I must say had something disgusting in the freezer compartment you couldn't even identify what it was! And there was a microwave sitting on top of it that was not very clean. After taking a shower my wife looked at her feet after just walking around in the room getting some things together and she had to go wash her feet again they were literally black! Mop?

Fun lot layout, old cars, etc.

Roaches, filth, excessive wear and tear. It's a shame because of the history and nostalgia of the hotel is ruined.

Property was really nice for such a great value.

Nice atmosphere breathing Route 66 being located at that historic highway. Unfortunately our TV was not working but the staff gave us access to their private wifi network to ease the pain..:)

Great price if you need a place to stay. Basically no AC for 110 degree weather is not a good time. Lots of bad actors looking for ways to exploit guests here is also a bad time.

Fairly recently updated rooms. Simple, generally clean. Basic service as expected with the price. Allowed late check-in.

Unique property. Our rooms had recently been remodelled so were in good condition.

Upon arrival I found the bedding in the room soiled and the heels and pillow cases had a number of female hair on it. Had to ask reception for a clean set and change it myself. The shower floor was dirty as well. Admittedly it is cheap accommodation but needs dramatic improvement to make it hygienic.

Good little motel ! Nice renovated rooms and nice welcome. We had issues with the hot water. But other than that, it was a good stop for our desert trip.

Very friendly staff.

We pulled into the parking lot, and immediately left. I did not feel safe at all. The hotel looked very cool but the neighborhood was not good at all. I don’t care that I lost the money, my family and I slept soundly in another hotel far away.

It was a pleasant stay. However, There was not enough towels, and when I went to ask, I was told they did not have any facecloths. I would still visit in the future

We didn’t stay. The area was sketchy & we didn’t feel safe. We left.

We went into the bathroom and there were bugs - little spiders everywhere. We went to the front desk and told them we wanted a refund as we were not staying. They refused to give us a refund. So we left and they could not care less - avoid at all costs. What a horrible way to run a business & serve the public. They should be ashamed.

Lovely little motel on Route 66 in Barstow. Friendly, helpful staff. We enjoy places like this while driving between destinations on vacations.

I love the “old time” look of the place outside. In the room however, we found the coffee pot was broken and still dirty, the front door didn’t have the extra a security bolt and light was coming in around the door and no soap, shampoo or wash clothes in the bathroom.

The room was small and unpleasant looking. Bedspreads were stained. A historic hotel that is very run down. No amenities. Likes the Route 66 memorabilia on the property but that's it.

Old motel, ok to stay thr noght

The room was clean. Property was nice. However, we had no hot water. Talked to the woman at the front desk. I was told the pipes are old and sometimes don’t work she came to our room to check it for herself; got back with us a bit later that the maintenance man would be there at about 9:00 pm (it was about 8:30 then). We waited, but no hot water. So we couldn’t take showers. There was still no hot water in the morning. Would not recommend this hotel and would definitely not stay here again.

The room had a terrible smell. We did not stay there. Stayed at a Holiday Inn instead. Asked for money back,but so far havent heard anything. They had good reviews for the most part or I would not have made reservations in the first place.

Floors need a good mopping, otherwise a great location
