Proximity to dining and shopping. Friendly and gracious staff. Great breakfast. Clean rooms with big refrigerator.

This location requires vehicle transportation. Staff was not very attentive. Breakfast was ok, seating options limited.

Clean very spacious rooms. Nothing out of this world but comfortable. Couch and bedspread were extremely itchy. Bfast ok, coffee bad, real bad both in room and downstairs. Very pricey at $280 per night. Ice machine nice. Overall, nice place to stay.

When we checked in we waited for several minutes until someone came up to the front desk to check us in. I believe the person was in the back eating and was chewing when they finally made it up to the desk. Our daughter dropped her phone into the elevator pit and we immediately reported it to the front desk. We followed up several times but got little information to what the next steps were. I believe it landed that they were trying to get maintenance in to open the door. The next morning we went down first thing at 7:30 to the front desk see when the status was or the next steps. We were told they were unsure. We returned back at 11:30 and still no progress was made. While the phone dropping into the pit is totally on our daughter- the lack of communication from day 1 to day 2 is unacceptable and the fact that the people didn’t know anything about it is more alarming. Jazmine was helpful but as a whole communication was lacking as a whole.

Ample free self-serve parking. Checkin was smooth. Room was clean and adequately provisioned.

My family had a great time. Kids spent a ton of time in the pool and had a blast. Breakfast was good. The room was very spacious and it was really nice to have the pull out sofa bed. Big fridge was great too. Check-out time is noon and it was great to have that extra hour-- we're used to an earlier checkout time. The only issue we had was that one of the queens did not have a top sheet, but we called the front desk and they brought us a sheet immediately. We'd definitely stay here again.

Close to everything and family friendly

This property was very clean, had TONS of storage, and the kitchen was great! We will try to stay at Home2 Suites whenever we can!

We showed up early, computers were "down", so they could not check to see if we could check in early. Check in was at 3pm, we sat in the lobby for over an hour before we got into our room. The cleaning ppl were behind they said. Got to room, we had no towels. So we called down to get some and extra pillows. Pillows are very thin. Garbage was still in bathroom and suite area. All night long was constant thumping from upstairs. We were there for our son's lacrosse tournament that weekend. We were outside in the sun all day, and we wanted to relax. Wife went downstairs to talk with someone, after we tried calling down, and said no one was at the desk. Waited close to ten minutes. Came back up mad. Of course. It's a nice hotel. But a few things need to change.

Perfect stay! The rooms were clean and quiet, the shopping and dining were walking distance, and the overall experience was wonderful. Excellent staff, hot breakfast. Overall we're very satisfied and would come here again! Thank you!

The hotel is new - only two years old. It’s pet friendly. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in a double queen was roomy enough to comfortably accommodate 3 adults, 2 children and 2 pugs. The third adult being my 19 year old daughter. Simple breakfast with make your own waffle maker was available. Loved the full sized fridge, dishwasher and plates. Plenty of space to store luggage. We will stay at a home2suites again for sure. Perfect for families. And lots of restaurants and shops nearby.

The stay was great although it was only one night my mother and my daughter that was sharing in one bed woke up with bug bites in their ears and legs. I suggest to get the beds check.

Rooms are a nice size clean new So close to shopping

The staff was friendly. Housekeeping has to be requested and the room had no safe box. The indoor pool's water appeared murky and dirty. For half of our stay, there was no milk available for breakfast. The gym machines were in good shape, and small towels were available, yet the water cooler had no cups.

I stayed two nights at the Home2 Suites by Hilton Richmond Short Pump while in town for a wedding. The location was great (right next to Short Pump Town Center and easy access to W Broad Street) but definitely car-dependent. The only time I had any trouble parking was following a late return to the hotel on Saturday night, but I was able to find one last available spot and did not have to inquire about alternative options. Check-in was quick and the lobby area was very clean and fresh, despite it being a rainy day. My room on the fourth floor was also extremely clean and spacious, and showed almost no signs of wear and tear aside from some small scratches on the closet wall from the hangers. The kitchenette was well-stocked with dishes and relevant cleaning supplies such as dish soap and a sponge, and signage listed that hotplates and cookware were available at the front desk, if needed. I did notice that the elevators were not secured by key card access, which I didn't love from a security standpoint. Breakfast was free with a generous range of open hours each morning. The style was much more "classic Southern" than I'm used to from hotel breakfasts, with biscuits and gravy along with the more standard pancakes and cereal. Not my taste, but it was a hit with other guests. Overall, I would be happy to stay at this hotel again in the future, though I might bring my own breakfast items.

We reserved a room with two queen beds, and the room description said a stovetop would be in the room. When we checked in, they gave us a room with a king bed and no stovetop.

Everything was amazing here

We were reveling with our 2 adult children. The room had 2 queen beds and a queen sleeper. The layout of the room with kitchenette would have made for a doable longer stay if we’d have needed it.

Excellent stay. Room was spotless and bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and attentive. Maybe install a latch on the pocket door for the bathroom. It would slide open a few inches after it was closed. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are in the Richmond area. Plenty of shops and restaurants close by.

Great service at the front desk. Parking lot got full at night. Room clean and great location near Short Pump mall.

This day was very enjoyable. We were allowed to check in a little earlier for breakfast. Buffay in the morning was amazing the best I’ve ever had. Rooms were really really clean in the clerks were very outstanding.

Fire alarm went off (for no reason) between around 8:30 am which woke my baby up and started our day off a bit annoyed. Staff seemed like she was high on drugs & breakfast was basic. Nothing special and definitely NOT worth the $$
