It was heaven on earth. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. The room was amazing as it was clean, restful and quiet. The food at the restaurant was delicious and economical. We had everything taken care of by the staff as far as getting to and from the airport. Highly recommended from this traveler.

Loved my stay at El Ben’s! The property never felt crowded during our stay, or too noisy ant any point. Our cabaña was clean and spacious. The food was delicious, and the staff were so friendly and approachable. The office staff was extremely accommodating to our needs (I messaged them a lot LOL), and really made us feel like our stay was seamless. Whenever we needed to book a boat/golf cart to the mainland or the Spit to Split Ferry we were able to do so with ease. They even helped us book our snorkeling excursion (which was also a 10/10 with EZ Boy Tours). It was the perfect relaxing, secluded environment my fiancé and I were looking for, for this birthday trip. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Caye Caulker!

Beautiful resort!

I liked the design and aesthetics of the property. I loved how the staff was so friendly and helpful. They made sure I had everything I needed. They were proactive and reached out to me to let me know the best way to get to the resort. The food at the restaurant was amazingly delicious. I would highly recommend El Bin if you are traveling to Belize.

We absolutely loved staying here. The staff is friendly and will accommodate absolutely anything you ask for. They have golf carts to take you around wherever you want. The cabanas are very clean and have an air conditioner which we really appreciated. We ate almost every meal at the restaurant, best drinks and food in town! Can’t recommend enough

Great time with the family. They met all our needs. Good communication and service. We relied on their boat and cart to go to and from town since they are across the channel. Seemed to work fine for the most part

The property was nice but just outside the entrance was trash and some sketchy people living there. I wouldn’t advise Walking back from the split at night. Call the resort and they will pick you up. Service was great especially Tyra who was so helpful and sweet. Restaurant and bar manager, Melvin made the best drinks! Food was great at the restaurant.

We had a good time staying at El Ben. The food and drinks at the restaurant were excellent. The property is beautiful, peaceful and well kept. The rooms were well maintained with comfortable beds and good AC. However there are a few things I wish I would have known before staying here: To get from El Ben to the South Island (where literally EVERYTHING is) it is a process. They do offer options like their own ferry to the water taxi or golf cart to the split however there are specific times, locations, advance notice requirements, etc., and we found the reliability to be somewhat inconsistent. If you have a lot of activities or want to be somewhere walkable, better to stay on the South Island. We also found inconsistencies in the service. They responded to WhatsApp texts quickly most of the time which was nice especially with coordinating transportation. But upon checkin they didn’t really inform us of how things worked or what they offered etc, we just had to figure things out for ourself. Some of the restaurant staff were very friendly while others were pretty blunt. We also had to request a cleaner to come to get dishes from room service but they never came (had dishes in the room for 1.5 days). Overall, El Ben provided a nice place for us to stay on Caye Caulker but we did encounter quite a few minor inconveniences.

Amazing place! The location is beautiful, well maintained with excellent staff. We loved the food and the access to secluded beaches in north island of Caye Caulker. Staying here does need some planning with their boat schedule to get you to and from the South Island which you will need to travel to for various tours, ferry or airport but the boat trip is 5-6 minutes.

I loved it here. Everything was built to perfection and tranquility. Job well done to all staff for keeping the place clean, lovely and enjoyable.

We loved our stay at El Ben. We travel a lot and the staff at El Ben was some of the best we have encountered. I would highly recommend this property.

Great location. Easy to access by water taxi, via south island. The hotel also offers a water taxi to south island for daily/evening activities. Lovely cabana, very comfortable. Great bed, towels etc. It would be more convenient if you didn't have to go the office every day to inform them if you want your room cleaned. They should remove used toilet paper, towels as a general daily clean without being asked. There are 2 pools on site with a bar which was nice. Staff very helpful, good induction to the site and area. Small events on site which is a nice addition. Boats picked us up from our pier for trips and they were outstanding. We loved our stat here. Great food too.

I cannot say enough about what a fantastic experience I had at El Ben. The photos in the website do not do it justice. Beautiful Cabana, very clean plus great bed, fluffy towels, bathrobes, coffee maker. The grounds were beautiful. Great restaurant. All tastefully done, suiting the vibe of the island. Quiet and peaceful. But the staff is what put it over the top for me. Kind, accommodating, attentive..provided rides to the split and back, arranged a snorkeling trip, sunset cruise, etc. Obviously I highly recommend sraying there and will return! Thanks to everyone at El Ben!

We were supposed to stayed 5 nights. This part of the island is very buggy and full of mosquito. I booked ocean from cabana, disappointed to find out there’s no beach on the property. You have to rent the bike. Which is rediculous. The boat is inconvenient because you have to text them half an hour before and sometime you must wait longer.the option is to take a golf cart that is provided to the little ferry, you get to the ferry to the south side where most of restaurants are. Only very few restaurants in these north side of the island. We are at the hotel Restaurant and had pasta with shrimp and my son had chicken. They were so aweful ( beside my pasta dish only had about 8 string of pasta, they must had not have any pasta or something) that we couldn’t eat it. We went to the south and had dinner after. You have to asked if you want your room clean, which is crazy because who doesn’t. So the second day I asked for my room to be cleaned before we went out for all day excursion on the South Island, we came back so tired and our room was still dirty. To make matter worst, the next day our AC didn’t work. They were able to give us temporary room, had to woke my son and moved at 1030 pm or so. We decided to leave the next day, this whole thing is not great on vacation. The mosquito was aweful, we also heard that few years back there’s an incident with crocodile on this side of this island. Our tour guide told us. I was able to get temporary room at the south side

My girlfriend trip stayed at El Ben. The water taxi and check-in was seamless, the cabana was clean, the food and drinks were amazing, and the staff was very friendly. The only hiccup was, the office staff offered to organize our transportation back to the international airport and we were late and missed our flight. Regardless of the great customer service, allow plenty of time for travel.

Outstanding customer service. Only down fall is the air condition in the room does not get cold enough. Our front door came off, but staff was able to put it back together immediately.

Excellent staff. Very attentive to all our needs and requests. This part of the Island is quiet but easy access to South Island. Very much an island feel. Good food.

Beautiful room that faced ocean. Grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Boat service and golf cart service was good. Bikes were not well maintained but we managed. Suggest better storage! Excellent restaurant. Msgs from staff were helpful but more details would have helped a first time visitor. Would stay here again.

Harold and his management team are always there to assist and advise. The rest of the staff is kind and accommodating. Karen, Magdaleno , Terizo, John, and all the rest Perla, Nick , Freddy.. are at your service but become friends. The food at TnT is incredible ! Compliments to the chef. A wonder place to just basque and relax or enjoy a restful sleep in between adventures. Thank you

El Ben Cabanas is a beautiful, comfortable, quiet resort. The staff is amazing, Karen in the restaurant and Papi were excellent! The food was very good breakfast, lunch, and dinner! The bar tenders made excellent cocktails too! The cabanas were very clean and beds were comfortable. They set me up with a fishing charter that was great too! I would recommend this to anyone.

Absolutely an amazing place, every aspect of this place is top notch, the place is spotless and the staff are all wonderful people, the most friendly people I have ever encountered, this place is a gem for sure, peaceful, friendly, they will help you with any request you have, I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to explore Belize, Herold is a great guy who looks after his customers, I have never been treated this well anywhere I’ve been, the entire wait staff and the people behind the scenes are incredible, the food is absolutely wonderful, all I can really say is that we’ll definitely be back and I have told all of my friends that love to travel all about this wonderful place, Belize is a gem of a place, beautiful country, beautiful friendly people, I can’t say enough good about all of it, highly recommend it to everyone

The property was an oasis in a rural area, out of the town but with easy access. The palapa style cottage rooms were quaint and well appointed. Dining was excellent. The staff were all friendly, attentive and accommodating. Highly recommend staying here when in Caye Caulkner.

On the negative side: - this hotel has no beach whatsoever (taken out by a hurricane) and swimming is not really possible in front - it has a small and not very pleasant swimming pool On the positive side: - the bungalows are large, well equipped and very comfortable - the restaurant is good - the staff is very nice and friendly

This is the friendliest and most peaceful stay imaginable. We love this ambiance and the kindness of the staff! The pina colada is the best ever! The waters so pristine. Fabulous lobster and coconut! We would return in a heartbeat
