Wonderful boutique hotel with owner managers who bent over backwards to make our stay wonderful…this is a real gem and we hope to come back one day….don't hesitate just book!

De gastvrouw en gastheer waren fantastisch, vriendelijk, gezellig, warm, veel humor. Zij waren erg gastvrij. Elke dag schone handdoeken en schone kamer. Prachtig uitzicht direct over het meer en hotel direct aan de weg. Het was wel wat lawaaiig met de deur open, maar dat is natuurlijk logisch als je direct aan de weg zit. Er kwamen veel mooie auto's voorbij, dus dat was best leuk. Met de deur dicht geen last van geluid. Het ontbijt was fantastisch! Verse kleine croissantjes, cappuccino, verse groenten/fruit, verschillende kazen, yoghurt. De ontbijtzaal was op het dakterras, waar je echt heerlijk zat 's morgens (en ook 's avonds). Mogelijkheid om kleding te wassen (voor 10 euro). De locatie was geweldig, direct aan de weg met uitzicht over het meer, vlakbij het centrum van Stresa en 5 minuten lopen voor de veerboot naar de 3 Borromeische eilanden en andere plaatsen. In Stresa zijn diverse restaurantjes, winkeltjes en tuinen om te bezoeken. Wij dachten dat parkeren lastig zou worden, maar dit viel ons enorm mee, we hebben de auto altijd zonder problemen vlakbij het hotel (gratis) kunnen parkeren. Direct onder/naast het hotel zat een pizzeria die een heel ruim aanbod had en zelfs speciaal voor mijn vriend een pasta carbonara maakte (aanrader!).

Het zou leuk zijn als je ook van de saunafaciliteiten gebruik kan maken zonder dit extra te boeken, dit had ik bij het boeken namelijk niet als optie gezien.

This is exceptional hotel operated directly by its owners who live on the premises (every member of their staff was extremely warm and helpful). After they purchased the hotel, they completely renovated it and thought through so many practical features and additional comforts. We hated to leave.,

Das italienische Frühstück war fantastisch. Ebenso der Service. Kein Wunsch blieb unerfüllt. Das Hotel wurde in 2022 von Grund auf renoviert. Die Ausstattung ist sehr geschmackvoll, funktionell und modern. Die Lage ist optimal, da sehr zentral zur Altstadt. Im Hotel herrscht eine familiäre, freundliche Atmosphäre. Eine sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft in Stresa. Elisabetha und Augusto 😎😎

The hotel was splendid, one of the best we’ve ever visited! Atmosphere was so warm and cozy! The staff was extremely helpful and made us feel welcome. Rooms were elegant and very clean. Breakfast was healthy and very delicious! The lake view was amazing!

The location of the hotel is fantastic. The shops, bars and restaurants are on your doorstep and you are straight across the road from the ferry terminal which is great for visiting the islands. The hotel has been completely refurbished with lovely rooms, a beautiful en suite and a stunning roof terrace with panoramic views. From the outside, the hotel seems quite unassuming but it's fresh, modern and tastefully decorated inside. The staff are just lovely!! We were always greeted with beautiful smiles and they really couldn't do enough for us. This was definitely the case when our pre-booked 0330 taxi to Malpensa failed to arrive. We spoke to the night manager who deputised her husband to stand in for her and she drove us to the airport herself!! I have never encountered customer service on this level from a hotel previously. This lady was a total star and we could not be more appreciative. If you are looking for a modern boutique style hotel to stay at in Stresa, this has to be your first choice, it really is everything you could want and more

There is nothing I could fault.

We loved our stay at Sempione boutique hotel. The view was breathtaking - we could spend hours just looking at the lake and the mountains from our balcony or from the rooftop terrace. Beautifully renovated, every little detail was well thought through. The owners and staff was welcoming and went above and beyond in order to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Thank you for your kindness and impeccable sense of service and custom care. We will absolutely be back!

Great location as it is right at the edge of the old town, and therefore within a 2 minute walk to everything important, but without the tourist noise. The view of the lake is priceless. Staff and service were excellent. Will definitely come back.

The outside of the building is beautiful! And it continued on into the lobby and throughout the rest of the building. The room was immaculate. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were excellent. The bathroom was very spacious! The upstairs terrace was laid out well, unfortunately the weather wasn't in our favour to sit outside, but sitting inside having after dinner drinks whilst looking out over Lago Maggiore, listening to the pitter patter of the rain was relaxing and enjoyable! The hotel staff were very accommodating and sincere about it too!

There were two things we didn't like, there was no exhaust fan in the shower, and the temperature on the Aircon only goes between 20 to 24 degrees Celsius. The room keeps the heat in quite well.
