The staff were super friendly nothing was to much trouble room was spottles and location surberb

Our double room was two single beds put together

Central location. The bed was very comfortable and having a fridge in the room was a bonus. The bathroom size was generous and the shower powerful. I am glad I booked a room in the Lodge rather than the main building. The beer garden was not very busy so the room was fairly quiet.

Fortunately it wasn't a rainy day as I had to wait outside the locked door for a short while for somebody to arrive with the keys. Initially he checked me into an already occupied room, so I had to phone again for him to return to sort it out. I booked a standard room which for sole occupancy was manageable, for two people it would have been very cramped and there's little storage space for luggage as the various facilities (microwave etc) take up most space. The handbasin in the bathroom is tiny so water ends up on the floor. There's sufficient space to put in a bigger basin. Getting to my room and leaving the hotel is cumbersome, very higgledipiglledy.

Have stayed at this hotel a few times now and always good 😊

Great room, very comfortable, digital access to room but easy to use, good food.

Shower was unpredictable, scalding then cold!
