We have family and friends in lowestoft so this was a great place for us to stay. it's location isn't far from any thing that we wanted to do. From visiting the beach, go into town, pleasurewood hills, and going to the pleasure beach in yarmouth, we even to Oulton broad and walked along the canal and finished up with a lovely carvey at the "wherry hotel"

The only downside, which didn't really affect us, was that the beach next to the caravan park is blocked off due to old seawall broken and lying in sea, but you can still get access to sea and sand a little way down.

The van was clean, the site was clean, and people were very friendly (staff and residents). Cafè/bar within walking distance and the sea was about 150 m away! What's not to like about that??

Absolutely nothing unfortunately

There are two questions above about facility and staff. There are neither any facilities or staff to speak of at this park. The caravan itself was very old, had a terrible smell of vomit in the twin room. It wasn’t really clean or aired (it was just cleaned on the surface and loads of air freshener left around. I took many photos and sent them to the complete of what looked like mold in the windows, paint off the wall, the dining table was unusable as all the screws had fallen out and my son was very close to getting hurt when we sat and he leaned onto it. Carpets and sofa filthy. I am honestly in shock that anyone can rent this place out. Thankful we had to take our own bedding and towels as I’d never have used theirs anyway. We didn’t stay but the company only gave me a refund of 1 night out of 3 (we had no choice but to sleep there for 2 nights as I don’t live in this country) but as soon as I found a place to go we left it. I am only able to share 4 photos but the outside table and radiators were all so dirty. I can’t show in photos what the smell was like!

The bathrooms and bedding were clean

This caravan needs updating or at least repair the things that need doing! On arrival we put lights on and one was broken and fell of the wall, the whole caravan smelt of wee or damp. Kitchen window has mould amd no blind for privacy. The dining table had looked like it had tried to be repaired and screws were coming through the top! The tvs didn't work, although that wasn't to much of an issue for us but some people would like them to work! The patio furniture was tossed all over and covered in spiderweb and filthy. Draws had crumbs in them and cooking trays could have done with a really good wash.

The smell of cat urine caused by some numpty shampooing the carpets and then leaving the property closed up so all the damp bacteria could evaporate into the property. I was almost sick when I walked through the door. It was disgusting.
