While the property manager was extremely kind and responsive to our feedback, it unfortunately did not make up for subpar experience. The house was very, very dirty: Hair on the bathroom sinks and in the showers. Layers of dirt on the carpet and floor. Beer cans and bottle caps around the fire pit. Unwashed sheets and towels. We actually washed the towels and sheets ourselves because they smelled. The manager did try to remedy this by having the cleaning lady come back to the house, but she left it in the exact same condition as before. On top of the general uncleanliness, the house was also infested with gnats in the bathrooms and kitchen. They got into all of our food, the coffee maker, everything. Another disappointment about the property was the dock and lake access. Prior to our check-in, we received a text from the manager reminding us of the great amenities like the swim dock and kayaks. However, when we want to check it out, the lake level was so low there was only about 12 inches of water off the dock and grass was growing where the lake used to be. Not something the property manager can control, obviously, though a heads up would've been appreciated so we could plan for other activities. The photos of the property show a manicured lawn and landscaping. But again, when we arrived that was not the case. The owners are turning the lawn into pollinator habitat, leaving no mowed lawn anywhere on the property for kids or dogs to play.

Everything was as expected and wonderful. We were informed that the lake levels were very low and that was the case. So low we were not able to swim in the cove. No fault of the property just a small disappointment. However, the location and view made up for it.

Stay was great ! House was great ! Hosts were very responsive with any questions we had ! Would definitely recommend!

Spacious home with lots of amenities. The home is in a remote area but just a short drive to many recreational activities and shopping. Good communication... all of our questions were answered quickly.

Nice, roomy, clean property. Lake was very shallow by the dock but not the owners fault. Good out of the way place to relax with family.

We LOVED our week this house! Everyone enjoyed some down time on the daybed swing--perfect spot to curl up with a book (if you can stay awake). Our grandson enjoyed playing cornhole and fishing off the dock. The secluded location was perfect for us. It was a very short drive to a place we could set up the canopy and spend the day in the water. Couldn't have picked a better spot for our family vacation. We highly recommend staying here!

Said ample parking but road is narrow and difficult to turn around in pickup. Big drop off on drive that you have to watch for. Very narrow road up to house. Apartment over garage next to house had owners daughter staying the weekend. Arrived late with dogs and dogs barking woke us up. Dock is a ways down a steep hill and rock and gravel steps. Good fishing if your knees can take the hill. Owner was great and lives down the hill by the dock. Very friendly and brought wood for smores. Nice house and plenty of room. Deck has great view of lake. Wildlife is abundant. Saw deer and turkeys

Couldn’t have enjoyed my stay more. Brett kept my kids with plenty of bait for fishing from the dock. This is by far one of the most enjoyable rentals I have ever stayed. This one won’t disappoint!

We had a fabulous stay ! The house is in quiet neighborhood with nice view .We are really enjoyed sitting outside on the patio.Beautiful and warm accommodation. Plenty of space for our Thanksgiving family get together. Great communication with Bret and Jennifer . Any questions were answered so very quickly. Overall a great stay !!!

Renting was so easy. The place was so nice. We thoroughly enjoy ourselves. We left making plans for next year!! We wouldn't change a thing!! Thanks so much my friend for a Wonderful 57 birthday weekend!!!!

Bret and Jennifer are excellent hosts making sure we had all that we needed for our stay. A quiet oasis with a view that says it’s time to relax. We will be back.

Excellent property and amenities. Everything you need for the lake trip. We went for fishing (Beaver is a challenge for fishing) and relaxation...which was easily achieved at Bret and Jennifer's place. Fantastic having basically 3 master bedrooms, making it very useful for multiple families to stay and not get in each other's way. Will definitely look to book again!

So happy with our stay. Beautiful home, beautiful view. The porch swing bed is amazing! Not ideal to ride a motorcycle to. Long gravel ride.
