Where do I start?!?! First and foremost, one of the most beautiful homes, inside & out, in Cape Charles; you can tell A LOT of love went into and exists in this house.
For a family like ours, we found BeachDaze incredibly functional. Each floor worked well for us and best part, we were not stepping all over each other yet we still had great, intimate moments whether it was a few of us gathering or the whole family came over.
Hands down, Ami & Ken are the best owners we have ever encountered in Cape Charles; they are very welcoming and engaging.
To summarize, our family is already laying claim as to who gets to stay in BeachDaze next year!
BeachDaze is the BEST house we have ever stayed at in Cape Charles!

Our family had a wonderful time at this home in Cape Charles. The house had plenty of space, the third floor was great for kids to play and sleep, and the kitchen was really well equipped. The location was great, kids loved being near the park, and it was an easy walk to shops and quick golf cart ride to the beach. The hosts were communicative and helpful. We had a wonderful stay!

Our stay at Beach Daze was delightful. We had one sunny beach day, but filled the rest with golf cart rides, shopping, games, cooking, reading, and TV. The house is spacious allowing for separation and privacy as needed. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautifully renovated kitchen and baths (4!) as well as the outdoor shower. The Victorian woodwork throughout has been thoughtfully restored and maintained. Host (Ami) was promptly responsive to our questions and the hosts supplied the home with every imaginable need. We plan to visit again!

The house is beautiful and had all the amenities we needed, and the location was perfect for walks to the beach and the shops/restaurants in town. The hosts are great and make sure you have everything you need during your stay!

Beautiful, spacious home in a beautiful neighborhood. We enjoyed walking to the beach and into town to shop. We loved sitting in the back deck in the mornings and afternoon just relaxing and enjoying conversations and laughs. Very well stocked with everything you need. The hosts are friendly and very accommodating. Would definitely come back!!

This is a beautiful, spacious house that's close to shops, the park, and the beach. The bathrooms and kitchen are renovated. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans for cooking. The third floor is the perfect cozy hangout space with games, books (adult and children), DVDs, and a few toys. On the main level, the gas fireplace was easy to use and a great feature since we happened to visit on a cold and rainy week.
Ami was a fantastic, communicative host. When I mentioned we had a preschooler as part of our group, she bought a bed rail and had it set up before we arrived. The house also has a crib, a high chair, plenty of kid dishes, etc. - definitely well-appointed for small children. Ami and Ken went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed and that it was set up for us ahead of time.

The Beach Daze house was just perfect for our long girls weekend. Beautifully restored victorian home that is well thought out and planned. Greatly appointed, everything we could have needed. We loved that there were Christmas decorations up. Oh and two working fireplaces. The kitchen was state of the art, perfect. The owners were extremely nice and communicative. They were a simple pleasure to work with. And the icing on the cake, we had snow flurries as we were leaving. Great weekend, great town, great friends, great house, great owners.

Very nice home, close to the Main Street and all thins fun. Rent a golf cart for an added experience. A Homeowner has never been more communicative and just wanted to ensure that we had everything we needed to make our weekend pleasurable!

The house was fabulous! We were able to relax while getting ready for my daughter’s wedding. All the rooms were clean and the so charming. We will definitely be back at a time when we can just relax and enjoy the area.

We couldn't have been happier with this property and the folks managing it. Our extended family rented several homes in Cape Charles this weekend as we were in town for a family reunion. We visited all of them and this one was by far the best. Very clean, beautifully decorated, and very well-kept. The out door space out back was wonderful. Exactly what we were looking for and we will definitely return.

My friends and I go to Cape Charles, VA for a "long weekend" to every year and this was one of the best homes I've ever stayed in. It was clean, well stocked with the essentials, had a great outdoor area and front porch. The house looks to be recently upgraded and it really looks nice. The owners were very responsive and great to work with. We will return!

This property was by far the best beach home which we have ever experienced. The owners have meticulously attended to even the most finite details of helping to make a visit so enjoyable and worry-free. The new outdoor shower was outstanding. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped for even the gourmet cook. Overall just an outstanding property!

Ken and Ami were excellent hosts and very responsive to our inquiries. Beach Daze is a beautifully restored quintessentially Cape Charles home and more than comfortably accommodated our group of seven. We will surely be back next year to enjoy some quality family time in what might be the best house in town! Many thanks to Ken and Ami for allowing us to make their house ours for the week.

My family held our first long weekend getaway in Cale Charles over Memorial Day weekend. While the weather was less than ideal, the home was nothing short of perfection. We especially loved the backyard deck and bonfire area. The proximity to the park and Mason Ave restaurants and shops was also great. This home is beautifully appointed and easily accommodated my family of 9 (including a 2 year old). We look forward to another stay in the future!

Pretty Victorian home with beautiful washrooms and kitchen. Gas fireplaces were warm and inviting. Quiet street. Hostess made my arrival very convenient with plenty of thoughtful amenities. I had zero issues here over my 9 week stay. The monthly discount made this an affordable option for me. I highly recommend this home for anyone traveling through or staying long term.

I can’t say enough great things about this home and the owners! Stayed here with my family for Thanksgiving. The house is beautiful with ample space for guests, nice rooms/bathrooms, and thoughtful spaces that meet all needs - large kitchen, big dining table, living room with tv/fireplace, kids space, etc. The house is perfectly located just a couple blocks from the main strip of shops/restaurants and a short walk to the beach (golf cart rental place is also a few blocks away). The owners are extremely friendly, accommodating, and responsive. Highly recommend this place!

A wonderful, well located gem with all the needed conveniences of home. We really enjoyed our stay at this beautifully restored Victorian. The 3rd floor space was particularly suited to kids and the two larger bedrooms on the 2nd floor comfortably worked for all the adults. Backyard was picturesque. Front porch was large.

Great experience
The property was well equipped and very comfortable. Owners herb and vegetable gardens was a first for us as was the thoughtful beach pail filled with goodies and a souvenir cutting board. Our four teenagers enjoyed their space on the third floor. An excellent week!

Restored Victorian Home
We had a wonderful week in CC... the property was perfect for my family. We had 7 adults and it was plenty of room to spread out. We applaud the owners for a beautiful job on the renovations... the house a nice refresh but they kept the charm of the original home. We loved the location... a 2 minute walk into town. We enjoyed hanging out on the front porch and back deck for a little down time. Excellent property!!!

One of the best houses we’ve stayed at in the area! Everything was updated and nice. Beds were comfy!
The downfall is the property management company. Double the booking fees and not responsive to questions. However, I believe the owner will be looking into this in the future.

Well-equipped home, great for two families
This home was the perfect spot for two families of four to spend an extended weekend over spring break. The house was very well equipped - plenty of extra blankets and pillows, kitchen appliances (an air fryer) and pantry items. The most thoughtful item was having a flashlight in easy reach in the master bedroom, which was very appreciated during a brief power outage. Clean, charming, and comfortable.

Great 3rd floor suite for either kids or adults who want privacy. New appliances/kitchen. Bathrooms immaculate. Back yard deck with lots of seating for outside eating. Fire pit and amazing yard that is well maintained. Can't say enough. This is a 1908 house but updated to modern standards, including full IT., TV, and HVAC.
