Easy to find with instructions sent, staff very helpful and friendly. Extremely clean, very happy with our stay and will definitely use the cottage again.

Modern, good layout 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms, lovely living room very spacious property. Good use of outside space with seating area and bbq.

Good location. Lovely garden. Easy walk to village from back garden. Lovely house for 2 couples. Only stayed one night as we were enroute from Lancashire to Cornwall - but we will keep the house in mind for another time. It is a really lovely property.

This was a lovely and well presented cottage. It was very clean and had all you needed even a nice touch of a fresh bottle of milk and snacks. Also the owners helped us find a taxi company for a concert we was to see in Chepstow we used AAB taxis these where recommended from AW taxis also very helpful.

A beautiful cottage in the heart of the forest - our second stay and will definitely return again

Beautiful cottage stunningly presented and very well supplied. Lovely touches such as milk and flapjacks made us feel very welcome. The beds were comfy and the location perfect for our little get away.

The red bookcase in the living room! 🤣 It really jarred with the other furniture.

Loved the warm homely feel to the cottage, very clean and done to high standard of finish. Amazing place to stay very relaxing also a totally enclosed garden for our chilhuahua/pug to play in without escaping, no fear of him getting hurt or lost. On entering the property there was tea coffee sugar satchets fresh milk and nibbles left out for us to enjoy. Made to feel very welcome. The property online pictures do not do it justice its really and truly beautiful. 1 bedroom downstairs with ensuit and another up with bathroom and toilet. Just a wonderful place to unwind and chill out if you have a busy life style. Would highly recommend in future to anyone.

No vacume or broom to clean through the cottage daily.

The back gate led straight onto the Forest of Dean footpaths. Sheep sleeping on edge of road outside the cottage. Spacious.

Good communication with the owner and easy access Well furnished and equipped Beds and showers both good Patio looked great but it was a bit cold to use

An upside is that the cottage is out of the village in the woods The down side is the cottage is out of the village in the woods and the road is narrow and fast. A walk into town is easy but care is required

Great location for the FoD and very easy to find from the directions. It has all amenities you need and everything works well. Outside space is nice and parking at the front is super easy.

It would have been nice if the property was a little warmer on arrival as it did take a while for it get up to a comfortable temp. It is on the road but like others have said you don't really hear it.

what an amazing cottage, had everything you needed, we had a cosy log fire at night, sat in the garden listening to the Birds eating my breakfast, you can literally walk out the back and off into the forest walks,, my x2 dogs loved it and it’s a short walk down the forest path to a lovely Pub,, what more can you ask for

could have done with a vacuum, just to clean up after the dogs ran through after their walk, may have had one there but didn’t find it

Location was perfect easy access to the Forest for walking our dog.

Maybe some instructions for the hob washing machine.

We loved Badger cottage. There was everything we needed for a comfortable stay and more. It was a shame we were only there for one night as it was a perfect base from which to explore the surrounding area. A beautiful little cottage. Our dog loved it too.

There was nothing to dislike. It is on the road but the traffic did not disturb us.

Parking was right at the property. Cottage was very clean and spacious with anything you might need in there. Dishwasher and washing machine available and what a bonus absolutely amazing. Bathrooms were great and bedrooms were superb and beds comfortable. Bbq available should you like and just so so absolutely fabulous. At the back of the property you were able to walk out into woods assume forest of Dean or similar, we had a good walk there and it was great but has potential to make a day out of it, we were there for a different reason and walking was not one of them hence I can't provide the details. Cottage was supplied with a dog bed, poop bags, treats and bowls- greatly appreciated but we have a large dog so he loved the tiled floor instead, he was in heaven on the cool kitchen floor. I had forgotten tea and coffee but the Cottage had that even milk was provided- whoever did that you are a legend. If we ever travelled that way again, I will first look for this cottage to see if available. Thank you for the amazing experience

There was nothing I didn't like and I have travelled a lot and stayed in places but this has really been great so nothing not to like.

Really lovely cottage nestled in a small hamlet, surrounded by woodland of the Forest of Dean with a very rural feel. Renovated to a high standard and very-well equipped. Lovely garden and outdoor space, with woodland walks or rides straight out of the door. The owner was very communicative and helpful throughout

The property is located right on a road, so there is some noise from passing traffic which is noticeable as the cottage is otherwise extremely peaceful.
