Quarto com ar condicionado bom, chuveiro quente, tranca eletrônica e confortável.

O hostel fica muito no alto de um morro, a uns 10/15 minutos da estação de metrô.

O bairro é muito agradável, o hostel é limpo.

O casarão está sem manutenção, as instalações elétricas não estão em boas condições, um dos chuveiros com fio desencapado, no outro a luz apaga quando liga o chuveiro. E não há restrição de acesso à casa apenas para hóspedes. Muito lixo acumulado na parte externa.

Do Golden Guimarães, da suite com ar condicionado, frigobar, fechadura eletrônica, do samba do Guimarães (com direito a trio de forró no intervalo) que acontece no hostel, da localização (o bairro de Santa Teresa é lindo, uma arquitetura maravilhosa) , do bar cade teresa que tbm teve samba no domingo (com valores bem acessíveis), do preço da hospedagem

Staff é incrível, principalmente a Luana, muito querida, os quartos são bem legais, limpos e aconchegantes! O Samba dos Guimarães que acontece aos sábados é imperdível, para quem curte um bom bate papo e uma cerveja gelada e boa comida é no Bar Cadê Tereza!!! Ah.... O Guima doguinho do hostel é super simpático! Obrigado a todos vocês, nós vemos em breve.

The big airy dorm room with a view. Enough bathrooms for guests. Friendly and helpful volunteers. If you want a quiet night you should stay during the week as the ground floor and the yard become a samba bar at weekends.

The hostel is on the hill and very few public transport lines goes there.

Prices were really high but it was carnival season and this spot was the best of the city to enjoy the festivities. They give you towels, a lock for your locker, soap, the mattress is not bad. I loved all the volunteers / workers there. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. It was a great vibe. I had an amazing time.

The bathrooms/toilets deserved to be upgraded. It's really not worth the high price. They were constantly being cleaned and had water and toilet paper so nothing to really complain about but taking a shower there was not pleasant. The room are basics but funcional. If I come back it's for the location and the great atmosphere provided by the volunteers not for the facilities nor the lady in charge (maybe owner)

All staff were amazing, super friendly and helpful. They cleaned the common toilets and showers so often to make sure it's clean for next usages. Location was very cute with bohemian styles house, cafes and restos, also was perfect for the carnival since the main street blocks were happening there or nearby. I had booked another hostel in different neighbourhood for the second half of my stay, after the experience here I couldn't stay there and came back.

Just keep in mind that since the hostel is located on top of the hill it's likely that you'll struggle finding an Uber or taxi coming back to the hostel. From hostel to anywhere was rather easy.
