One of the worst experience, the poor rating is not for the room facilities or anything but for the poor treatment meted out to our group of friends who stayed there from 28-30 September. We were only present at the hotel for a maximum of 8 hrs per day and that too maybe from 2-10 am as you would when on a vacation. But during checkout the Hotel manager alleged that we had scratched some glass top of a coffee table in the room and demanded an exorbitant sum as damages. Even after our repeated pleas that we have not even used the same table and when asked to show the photos of the table prior to our use they refused. Even called security to detain us!! As we had flights to catch and homes to return to, we paid the last Thousand or so Baht to them and managed to relieve ourself. One in our group said that on a prior visit to Thailand with family he had a similar experience. It seems seeing Indian tourists, especially bachelors they made up their mind to extort any money as it is a win win for them. It seriously affected our overall experience and would not recommend going to Thailand at all. For J pattaya total Thumbs down , a lesson for all hotels, treatment of customers is the most important facility you can provide.
