All round excellent experience, really appreciated being able to check in early (we were on a motorcycle tour and the weather was awful). Nice welcome on arrival, our request for a room with a bath was also met which was lovely. Our room was large, warm and tastefully furnished, plenty of storage as well. Ate in the restaurant, again staff very attentive, professional and knowledgeable. Menu has a nice selection of dishes, food was excellent quality, cooked and presented beautifully. Had continental breakfast the next morning which was very nice. Exceptional value for money - would love to come again, can highly recommend.

Very last minute booking but made to feel very welcome and looked after.

Would have liked to have been able to eat a little later but appreciate we were last minute and it was a Sunday.

A fabulous pub, the rooms were stunning with a luxury feel to them and the food and service were outstanding

We booked last minute, the staff were very helpful and upgraded our room. We had a meal in the restaurant with family who lived close by. Small menu, but good selection with local produce. All our meals were very good.

Food was super tasty, staff really friendly and room very cosy.

Nice room, clean and comfortable.

The place was closed Monday evenings, so instead of just walking downstairs for a meal and a drink, I have to drive somewhere else. Not what I wanted after a long day.

no wifi/internet in the barn rooms The radiator in my room would not warm up - radiator thermostat seemed to be stuck

The staff were absolutely incredibly welcoming and accommodating. We were a large group ( varying between 12 and 16). I was really impressed about how well we were treated.

Friendly, helpful staff. Modern and well maintained facilities. Breakfast was good and the atmosphere perfect.

breakfast was good and dining restaurant menu was good. not much in the surrounding area but is a village so expect to drive any where. Great country pub and garden and staff were really friendly.

not a negative but would have been good to have a desk in the room as I was working but not the end of the world.
