The hostel is really central so you can easily reach most of Kandy's sights from here. When we found out that our room didn't have a window the hostel owner brought us a fan.

Our room didn't have a window, so it felt quite stuffy in there. If you book it with the shared bathroom remember that you might have to wait around half an hour till you can use it as it has both the toilet and the shower.

place so cool..staff also have great communication with us. And they recommend some places to visit and take meals.

Only 1 thing we didn't like that was a bathroom door. It' broken and can't close. When 1 inside one should be hold the door

The price is very cheap. That's the only positive

I feel bad giving a low rating to somewhere so cheap, as I believe you get what you pay for. But this place was pretty awful. Cockroaches and rats in the room, walls are made of thin plywood so very noisy (footsteps in the corridor will wake you up). Tiny room. Filthy bathroom, sheet doesn't fit the bed, uncomfortable bed. Worst of all though is at check out the manager tried to charge us double, saying the booking.com price was per person. He also used a different conversion rate. There's nothing worse than feeling you're being scammed as a tourist. So very cheap, but I would not advise staying here

Perfect Location, walking distnace to Daladha Maligawa, KCC and many more usefull places. Easy to get to the train station and the bus station

There were lot of noises during the night, mainly from the roof I guess, sounded like loose fiber glass roofing sheet shaking due to wind

- Location is very good

- They have 3 bedlinens but none of them cover the entire bed, so I slept in direct contact with the mattress, that was dirty - The wooden building is SO NOISE! To leave the room it sounded that I was trying to break the door, and everytime that someone used the toilet I could hear every step - I slept very bad because there are so many mosquitos and no mosquito net; it’s not possible to close some high window and the mosquitos kept entering - They close the gate after 10pm, so if you plan to stay outside, you have to make a plan for this.
