Cottage 09 est nouveau sur le marché de location de Jekyll Island et est situé dans The Cottages at Jekyll Island, le premier lieu de vacances de Jekyll. L'accès à la plage sud Cottages est à votre porte arrière et fabuleuse vue sur l'océan est aussi! Cottage 09 est une maison de ville de deux étages de style maison de campagne, a un plan d'étage ouvert comprend 3 chambres, 3,5 salles de bains avec maître (Reine) au premier étage et 2 chambres (queen, 2 jumeaux) chacune avec salle de bain privée au deuxième étage. Cuisine ouverte équipée d'électroménagers en acier inoxydable, îlot et bar à petit-déjeuner. Grande salle à manger et espace de vie élargi ouvert sur la terrasse en pavé avec barbecue au gaz. Buanderie complète au deuxième étage. Les deux chambres supérieures s'ouvrent sur un grand balcon pouvant accueillir 6 personnes, une table à incendie et une télévision à écran plat suspendue. Overall, a great house that is sooo close to the beach. Cute little neighborhood. House was clean and just as pictured (minus the TV being removed from the upstairs patio)
The house was VERY minimally stocked. Like bare bones with cutlery, bowls, plates, soap, etc. having stayed in a ton of beach VRBO properties I’d never experienced such limited supplies. I brought this to their attention and they were very quick to remedy my requests.

Cottage 09 is a beautiful cottage. We love Jekyll Island and come every year. We love the Christmas lights and riding the island to see homes that are decorated, as well.
The porch upstairs is excellent. I loved the couch that swings. Nice area to sit and have coffee or relax after a long day.

The location was great, grandchildren loved the beach,pool and fishing, the 50% off at the pub was a nice extra we ate dinner there 1 night and the food was very good, the only issue we had was a few bugs in the kitchen that I'm sure they will address, we are looking foward to a return trip

Great place to stay. Only problem was there was not a bathroom for the third bedroom upstairs. Two bedrooms had their own full bathroom. Not sure if the description was not clear or if I missed that. Also, it said the third bedroom was a bunkbed and two twin beds. It only had the bunkbed, double bed on bottom and twin on top

We had a great family vacation. The house was very spacious and our party of 9 was very comfortable. My grandchildren especially enjoyed the community pool which was a short walk from the house.

The townhouse was great. Family enjoyed it, plenty of room for 7 adults. Could use a little more in cooking ware and utensils. Pool was great. Wish the beach was more swimable, but understand. Family enjoyed their time in cottage and on Jekyll island.

We enjoyed our stay and took advantage of what Jekyll has to offer. Owners need to better supply the kitchen (towels, hot pads, pot lids, more trash bags, dishwasher detergent, etc.) for those who are staying a week.

The townhouse was lovely and very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with essential cookware etc., however it did not have a wine bottle opener, (no big deal) but if you plan to purchase wine with a cork you may want to be sure to pack something. The picture of the outside of the property lead me to believe that the townhouse was beach front, but it was across the street instead, even so you had a side view of the ocean water. I would stay here again.

The property is great! There was plenty of room for our group, the description of the property is accurate, and beach access is across the street. It is important to know that there is no beach at high tide along that part of the island’s coastline so beach outings should be planned appropriately. The downtown area is 3 miles from the property but is easily reached by car or bike. It can also be walked. We had a great experience and will rent this property again.

We loved staying at this property. Ocean view is nice. The proper management company also brought us a pack and play and high chair so we didn’t have to bring ours. Huge plus. The floors were dirty when we checked in and the furniture needs to be shampooed because they are dirty looking. We just swept and mopped and we’re fine with that. Although you do pay a cleaning fee so we’re hopeful for it to be cleaned. There was a broken blind in the master on the bottom floor. Which let a lot of light in since it wouldn’t close. Other than that it was a perfect property. We will stay again for sure.

The house needs some love (new paint, mattresses, rugs, etc), but the kitchen was good, the appliances were good. Lots of seating, lots of places for privacy and family time. Big dining table.
Jekyll Island itself is so cute and the house is only about 5 minutes from all of the restaurants and shopping.

My mom, husband, 3 year old and 1.5 year old and I stayed in this house for 4 nights in late August 2021. We loved it! The finishes and decor is really nice. The kitchen is fully stocked so we cooked all our meals. The beds were all comfortable. Really such a beautiful home! We went to the pool every afternoon and my 1.5 year old loved splashing in the zero entry shallow end. We went to the beach at Ocean View Park in the mornings. We went on a dolphin tour and saw so many dolphins. We also visited the Georgia Sea Turtle Center and Driftwood Beach.
The only negatives were the dishwasher (wasn't great) and it said beach access but it's not. There is access to dunes you can walk on but no place to set up umbrellas and chairs. But the park is a 4 minute drive and it's easy to get to.
We hope to stay in this rental or another at The Cottages Property next year!

The community is tidy, clean, convenient and upscale. As many others have said it doesn't have the best beach but we've been coming to Jekyll for years and that doesn't bother us. A 5 minute bike ride takes you to a great beach. The house is clean, spacious, and located at a great spot on the Island. The only remotely negative thing about the trip was that the house came with 3 bikes and 1 of them was unusable because the tires were old/ruined/flat and another was unusable because it had a broken chain. We had to rent 3 bikes from red Bug, which was fine, but you definitely want bikes on Jekyll and if you are advertising bikes you need to make sure they are in working mechanical order. But management was great and friendly and fast to respond. Overall would definitely rent again.

We enjoyed our time at the cottage. It’s not perfect for 4 couples because of how the full bathrooms are arranged, all of them connected to the bedrooms. So one bedroom is really for kids. The main area is comfortable and ample for eating, playing games and socializing. together. The rug under the dining table is filthy and the place was a bit dusty. We had trouble with the hot water heater and it had to be reset two days in a row.
Definitely bring extra toilet paper, paper towels, body/hand soap and your own shampoo/conditioner. We were 5 women, and 3 guys, and only 8 towels were provided. We brought extra towels with us.
In the kitchen, most basic supplies were found. Remember to bring any spices, ziplocks bags, a extra coffee cups, there were only 6 cups in the unit for coffee. And a few wine glasses!
We didn’t use the grill. As for the fire pit, it didn’t work while we were there. Nor did we get se the clubhouse facilities. We did walk over and it looked very nice. The island is amazing and lots of fun for a 3 night getaway.
The management responded quickly to concerns like no hot water and bought us hand soaps.

Such a beautiful home ! Great location! Property manger was easy to contact ! Definitely would love to come back in the near future. Only complaint is the cleaning is not that great lights and fans are very dusty and one shower upstairs was oily and glass door was streaky look like cleaning was just a quick touch up ! But it doesn’t take away how beautiful this home was my whole family enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful time !

Disappointed with beach, high/low tide.. limited beach time unless you drive to another beach.
More cookware needed, another fry pan would have been nice. No chairs to sit out on back patio as pictured. Told they were broken.. and we’re waiting on replacements... Grill needs cleaned and no grill utensils.
Biggest disappointment .. Unable to use beach near cottages!!! Pool overcrowded.. especially with Covid. Nice if bigger or more than one.

Our family rented two units for the week. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach “social distancing” there. The listing stated that our unit had 4 bicycles (there were only 3) and that there was a table and chairs on the patio (we could have used this). Otherwise, this is one of the nicest places we have stayed in the area!

Jekyll Island is beautiful and community was well maintained. We were steps from the beach however the beach is only available when the tide is out. So you have to time your beach trips around the tides. But when the tide is out, it's an awesome beach. Super quiet and easy to run back and forth to the cottage as needed. The community has a beautiful pool with plenty of seating both in and out of the sun. The unit we stayed in was large and well equipped. The furniture was nice, functional and modern. The owners left the garage for us to use so that helped with the limited parking. You have 2 spaces in the driveway so we were forced to park one of our cars in the community parking. It was an easy walk to that parking so not a problem for us at all. Of course Jekyll Island is fun with nice beaches & bike paths. The only problems we encountered during our stay is the lack of resturants and places to buy food. There's a market about 3 miles away but their hours are short and they don't carry much fresh produce. We also had an unpleasant experience at the pool over the weekend. There was an entire party of adults drinking, smoking and being belligerent (loud & perverted) with blaring music. Certainly not family friendly that day. But the rest of the week, the pool was a nice area to hang out with family and the pool itself seems well maintained and clean. So in summary, bring enough food to cook in because eating out is sketchy and finding a grocery store means leaving the island. And expect the pool area to be questionable on the weekends. Other those small things, this is a great place to stay and I'm glad we found it.
