The Opel house is amazing!!! The views were stunning and the layout was perfect. It had everything we needed and much more. We hope to visit again soon and enjoy the amenities of this incredible home.

We had a fantastic weekend at Opal House for a reunion of sorority sisters! It is well maintained and furnished comfortably. The kitchen is well stocked. It is an easy walk of just a few minutes to the beach or pool. We didn’t expect to be able to see the ocean from the top deck so that was a fun surprise!! Check in/out instructions were easy to follow. We have stayed in this neighborhood many times and really enjoyed this house over others we have stayed in. We are already planning our next trip back!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Opal House! It was so convenient with little kids to have both the pool and beach within walking distance. The basement area is a great space for those with kids to have added sleeping space and the privacy of an additional living space, bathroom, and refrigerator. The beach towels, chairs, toys, and wagon were a very much appreciated added bonus! There’s also so many outdoor seating areas to enjoy. We’d love to come back and visit again.

Opal House was a fantastic rental located in beautiful Wild Dunes - the house is tucked back in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood and very close to the beach. We had the entire beach to ourselves! It felt very private and secluded. The house is well stocked and in great condition, it had a beach wagon and beach chairs which was a great surprise. We loved spending mornings and evenings on the front porch and screened-in back porch. I would definitely come back again!
One thing to be aware of, we had a few people who did not rent a car and planned to take Ubers - we found it difficult to get rides given that we were so far back in the resort. So plan ahead and call a taxi or get a rental car, as a heads up.

Opal house was a beautiful setting and perfect for celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. There was plenty of room for our whole family plus lots of places to be alone if one needed to work. We enjoyed the beach, the pool and outdoor decks. But the house was so beautiful we were tempted to stay inside for a lot of the time! Wonderful!

We enjoyed our stay at Opal House. Everything needed was stocked. The house was exactly as advertised. Very clean and comfortable. The teenage kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Nice beach access. Highly recommend

The home was just as it was presented on line. It was clean and ready for our stay. We all agreed that the beds slept well and the linens were very nice. We loved the special touches with the extra beach towels and beach toys in the garage. We would definitely rent this vacation home again.

We had a party of 10 including all immediate family and all grandparents for a graduation Friday for the Navy at Goose Creek. Location was convenient for this and place was top-notch. We used beach access and pool every day.

My parents, my family, and my sister’s family gathered the Opal House for a long weekend on IOP. The house was great with several amenities meeting the needs of our crew. It’s a short walk to the neighborhood pool and beach access. We would definitely stay here again.
The iTrip team were great communicators leading up to our visit. We had a couple of questions during our stay, and they were super responsive.

We had a wonderful stay at the Opal House for a long weekend. Easily walkable to the pool and beach and a beautiful view of the pond on the driving range. We were even lucky enough to see many turtles and one gator sunning on the driving range green. The house was well appointed and a nice layout for an extended family.

We had a wonderful stay at Opal House! The home is immaculately clean, beautifully furnished, and has all the amenities you need. The kitchen is the most well stocked kitchen we’ve had the pleasure of experiencing. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. We never tired of our lagoon views, and proximity to the pool and beach! We highly recommend! Management also highly organized and responsive

This is our 2nd time staying in a house managed by iTrip Charleston Beaches. They do a nice job, are well organized, and very efficient.
The Opal House is a well appointed house with nice amenities. We had everything that we needed from meal prep and serving, to relaxing on the porches, and having movie night. We enjoyed our time and would not hesitate to stay again.

We had our annual “girls weekend” here and the place could not have been more perfect. It comfortably accommodates 10-12. Each room is so beautifully appointed… beds very comfortable, decor is high-end. Each sleeping quarters has its own bath. The “hang out” spaces are the best. There is a front and back deck, both so comfortable to enjoy coffee, drinks, and lots of conversation. The kitchen is very well stocked with all you will need. They have thought of every detail. It is a short walk to a lovely beach (about a block along the quiet neighborhood cul-de-sac). Central pool and large hot tub. Such a perfect place to enjoy time with friends or family!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Opal house. The location cannot be beat and we had plenty of room for my immediate and extended family that stayed. They also had some beach supplies there which came in very handy to ensure we had everything we needed for the beach.

This house is beautiful! It is on a cul-de-sac and in a gated community so it feels very safe and cozy. The walk to both the beach and the pool is short and easy. Seven girls stayed her for a 30th birthday celebration and we never had any issues with water pressure or lack of hot water! We absolutely loved the balcony just off the kitchen/living room, as well as looking out over the lagoon at the turtles and alligators chilling on the bit of grass on the other side! The only thing to keep in mind is that since this house is located deep into the Wild Dunes community, it is a bit of a drive to get to downtown or the airport. It was about a 40 minute drive to the airport one way, and since everyone was coming in at different times/days, it made for a lot of time in the car. However, if you are not wanting to venture downtown much and are happy with staying on IOP, this house is perfect!

We booked this home last minute and were pleasantly surprised with how nice everything was. The home is in a gated community, within a gated community so it’s incredibly secure and safe. The beach access is a quick three minute walk and the home has beach chairs, boogie boards and a beach cart. It’s a spacious home with room for everyone and the furnishings are well-appointed and thoughtfully placed. The screened porch at the back of the house overlooks a pond that has a golf ball driving range. We enjoyed seeing several birds and deer each morning and evening. While we visited in August, the beach was not crowded at all. There is also a pool and large hot tub that serves the community that is a two minute walk from the house. We used both each day we were there and pretty much had the place to ourselves. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and are already making plans to book this house next year.

The Opal House is located close to a large community pool and hot tub, as well as a short walk from the beach boardwalk. The home is beautiful and well-stocked with all the comforts and amenities needed during your stay at the Isle of Palms. From check-in to check-out, we had excellent communication with the hosts. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend The Opal House for large families!

We stayed at Opal House for a ladies weekend/friends trip. This house had a wow factor and all of the guests loved it. We had 10 people and there was plenty of space. The house was very comfortable and the 3 large bedrooms and basement space served us well. There were enough bathrooms that each bedroom had their own (one used the hall bath). The kitchen was spacious and had all the amenities to cook. We enjoyed many laughs around the kitchen table and in the living room. We enjoyed morning coffee on the screened in porch and outdoor chairs by the water. Kitchen and grill were great for family style meals. Very short walk to the pool/hot tub and beach is also very close. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend!

This is a wonderful home in a very private community. The home is exactly as described. The beach is minutes away and extremely private. Our family had a fantastic time and will likely return!

We rented this house for an annual girls trip, and it was perfect! The home was well stocked and clean, and property managers were quick to respond to messages. With a larger group, this house had a great layout in that we could easily all be together, but also have alone time on the decks, etc. great location to the beach and the pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go back!

Such a lovely place. The only downside was the steps especially for the people staying on the first floor. We were six aging people who are all still very active but still a challenge .

We had two families stay at the house. It was a great house for us and the kids especially enjoyed hitting golf shots from the backyard. The house also is very conveniently located near the beach and neighborhood pool.
