We really enjoyed our stay. It is a pretty and clean condo, especially for a dog friendly rental. The communication of the pre-arrival info, check-in procedures, and check out info was on the spot. We would recommend having a larger supply of toilet paper and directions to where we could take recycling. Other than those two things, it was perfect for the 4 of us and our pup!

Unit well laid out and tastefully decorated

The location, layout and decor were excellent. My family enjoyed hanging out on the screened-in porch and walking on the beach. There were a few small details that could’ve been improved (front door lock was hard to use, limited toilet paper, etc), but overall, would recommend the unit.

This is our second stay at Lets do Sunset, and we are happy to give a five star review. It is especially clean, convenient, comfortable and has a wonderful view of the lagoon. We appreciate that it is pet friendly! We will be staying there again!

We enjoyed every moment of our two weeks at Let’s Do Sunset! We’ve been vacationing on Kiawah since 1995 and your villa was truly the best. From the comfortable furniture, cleanliness to the best lagoon view ever, we loved our time there. Quiet, nice walk to beach and close to the Sanctuary.

My kids, husband, dog and I had a very relaxing stay at Let's Do Sunset. The rental included everything we needed and we really enjoyed the screened in porch overlooking the lagoon, where we would count and keep track of the alligators sunbathing each morning. The owners helped us to rent bicycles, which were delivered promptly and which my 14 and 10 year old greatly enjoyed. The path along to the beach is lovely and well-maintained and of course, the beach at Kiawah is beautiful. Fresh Fields shopping center being a few minutes' drive away was helpful for us in grocery shopping and entertainment - we got Ben & Jerry's ice cream and we ate at Cantina 76 - where we brought our dog Charlotte and ate outdoors. It was so nice to come "home" to the rental afterwards and unwind with tv & a glass of wine. Kids had plenty of space, as did we.

This property was exactly as advertised! We needed a dog friendly place and the dog gives it a 5 star rating as well! Love the close walk to tennis facility and beach and very quiet at night. Amenities were fine...brought extra towels and paper products just in case. We will definitely rent this unit again.

We do not really see the sunset from there, but we had a good time anyway. Love the view of the lagoon from the eating area. The apartment is very comfortable and we like the decor very much. It is 8 or 9 min of a pleasant walk to the beach. we also we enjoyed many walks around the area, with our little dog. The condo was well supplied with just about everything we needed. We were sad to return to the frozen north.

Loved the serene atmosphere overlooking the water. The villa was very clean and well equipped especially in the kitchen. Bed was comfortable and little details made it very pleasant and comfortable. We enjoyed our Thanksgiving week.

My wife and I vacation on Kiawah Island frequently and stay in the tennis villas often. This condo was one of the nicer ones we have enjoyed. The location was convenient for walking to the beach and it was quiet. Really enjoyed the covered porch with an excellent lagoon view. Furniture was comfortable and well appointed. Condo was clean and maintained. We will defiantly stay here again.

We and our pup enjoyed the most relaxing stay at Let’s Do Sunset. The villa is clean, comfortably appointed, very conveniently located close to the beach and the Sanctuary (we walked to our dinners at the Sanctuary!). Our favorite part of the villa was its large balcony with views of the pond where you could enjoy the morning coffee and observe wildlife: alligators, turtles, and various birds. We will definitely be back!

We just got back from beautiful Kiawah Island yesterday. What a wonderful trip! Let’s do Sunset was a great condo with a great location. The beach was very close and we enjoyed riding bikes around the beautiful neighborhood. We also visited the beautiful Sanctuary Hotel just down the road for drinks. The screened in porch was perfect for relaxing and watching and listening to nature. Would definitely love to visit it again!

Really enjoyed our stay

Pros: Excellent location. Easy access to the beach and close to The Sanctuary. The condo had a nice layout and the screened in porch was nice. We enjoyed watching the wildlife from the porch. Cons: Immediately upon entering the condo we were knocked over by an awful smell. I’m not sure if the smell was mold or a dog smell or what, but it was a stale, nasty, and intense smell. The smell made it honestly hard to breathe in the condo and significantly affected our stay. We wanted to spend as little time in there as possible and ended up spending a ton of money eating out to avoid being in there. I woke up each day feeling stuffy from the smell. The condo was surface-level clean, but as soon as we looked around we could see it was pretty ick - pasta sauce spilled on the cabinet, gross microwave vent, etc. Also, several parts of the condo were in disrepair - the drawer under the oven was broken and hanging down, a drawer on an end table in the master bedroom was broken, one of the sliding glass doors to the porch was broken, etc. I felt extremely deceived by the good reviews for this condo. The property manager asks renters to contact them directly if they have less than a five-star review, but there’s nothing they could have done to fix the awful smell and I want to warn others who might also be deceived by the great reviews for this condo. I guess that is the reason no bad reviews make it onto any of the website for this condo. Would not recommend.

This condo is conveniently located on Kiawah Island, and tastefully decorated with a fabulous view of the lagoon. It was very clean, all the kitchenware was updated and the knives were sharp! Super comfortable - we will definitely choose this condo again!

This was the perfect place for our family to spend a long weekend on Kiawah. We’ve been coming to Kiawah for over 25 years and this was one of the best places we’ve stayed. The lagoon view was fantastic especially during a couple early morning rains. We really appreciated the obvious care that’s been shown to keeping the place clean and modern. We can’t wait to stay again.

The villa was great for two couples. Well located, nicely furnished and well equipped. Easy walk to the beach.

Our daughter was running the Kiawah Half Marathon. The Let's Do Sunset unit was perfect set up for us during the long weekend. Everything we needed and we could bring the dog. Communication with Steven was great. We requested a couple changes and he took care of it right away. Great Experience!!

Place was great - as advertised. Good location with a short bike ride to the beach. We appreciated the opportunity to bring our dog. We recently sold a villa on Kiawah and are looking for a place to stay when we visit. Owners upfront identified an issue with the dryer and communicated it to us. They got a technician in but were unable to fix it for our stay. Without request they provided $150 credit for the inconvenience. The right way to do business and earn our return visit.
