Location to the beach & heart of Port Douglas was excellent.

There was no lift and we were located on the third floor so there were way too many stairs. When I booked I was told we would be on the second floor. The accommodation was extremely dated, tired and dirty. The furniture was stained, the blinds were filthy (and did not block out daylight) and it was not clean. The beds & pillows were very hard. It was noisy with the windows not blocking out any noise from the pool. Do not expect a sleep in after the pool opens at 7am.

The furniture was grubby. Lounge, dining and outdoor furniture all needed cleaning or replacing. The tiled floor was filthy and we had to wash our feet before getting into bed. The bed was quite hard.

The bed mattresses need replacing in the unit we were in, but otherwise everything else was fine.

The apartment was so comfortable with everything you need. It was perfect with a toddler. The location couldn’t have been better. Waking up to the beautiful beach and sunrise. Stroll into town. Easy parking and access to surrounds.

The only thing was that it needed a deep clean. We only noticed as we had a toddler picking up some bugs and thing around the lounge. But overall it was fresh and hygienic.

in my booking I requested a quiet room we arrived late on our first night at Beaches and noticed there were no others at the resort we wondered why? the next morning we heard hammering, sawing and loud noises that started at 800 am I went outside to investigate and saw directly below us dust coming out of one of the rooms. I met up with the Beaches manager who new about the renovations been attended at the building and explained that she did not have anyone at the resort because of renovations. she suggested to speak to seascapes manager in which I did. I spoke to Tom the manager from seascapes who suggested to relocate. we relocated that morning to Montaray around the corner. A nice apartment but smaller and the pool was full of seed droppings from the palm trees. I was not happy that I requested a quiet room and someone allocate me just above a renovated room. seascapes manager blames Booking. com I would like your answer please I’m not happy

Great location, good size pool

There was no cleaning or change of towels during our whole 6 days stay. The cleanliness on arrival pretty average too. On top of that you have to do your dishes at the end, get rid of rubbish etc..

Close to the beach and the only netted swimming area - good cafe options right beside the premises. Air con was very effective and very welcome

WIFI didn't work which is an issue as phones up there only have 3G. Stairs only which was fine for us but might be an issue for older guests.

Great location

The location of the property was perfect and the layout of the apartment suited our families needs. Meghan was extremely organised and reached out prior to our visit to make sure everything was ok for our arrival.

The apartment and location were awesome but a couple of items need attention: 1) the exhaust/fan in the ensuite bathroom has dust covering the entire filter and balls of dust fell down during our stay - it needs to be cleaned/or the filter replaced. 2) the indoor/portable clothes rack needs to be replaced as it is quite rusty and the legs are not stable.

Beachfront location was great. Apartment was really spacious with a decent sized balcony. Pool and hot tub area was nice.

Bed was a bit uncomfortable. WiFi kept dropping out. Toiletries were really tiny and no body wash was provided.
