Scenic view from the hotel, serene environment
Poor quality service, food, room maintenance

Amazing location. Lovely Wood & stone cottage, beautifully maintained. Resident staff/cook Balbir an affable and efficient person, cooks up delicious local food.
Lack of any heating in bathroom, makes it a bit uncomfortable. But that is the case in most places in Himachal.

This places is 10-15 kms away from the Kullu town. It gives a perfect view of the Western Himalayan mountains and the Beas River. The traditional Kathkuni architecture gives the place its rich feel. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the Manalis and Kasols of the world, which makes it peaceful even if you are going there towards the year end. Me and my wife stayed there for 3 nights and fell in love with the place. The food is homecooked by Balbir Paaji, who makes you feel belonged. It is freshly prepared, has a local flavor and the taste stays on your tongue for quite some time. We tried their Rajma (Himachali style - best dish I had during my entire HP journey), Chicken Rara, Dal Makhni and other breakfast items. The owners will take you through a tour of the place including the Apple and Peach plantations. We went there during winters, however when these trees bear fruits around May-Aug, the place must be nowhere short of heaven. We will visit this place again for sure.
You may want to ditch the commercially sabotaged accomodations of Manali, Kasol and rather visit this gem in Kullu. It will have a lasting impression for sure

This stay is really beautiful and since located away from the main city hustle it adds more stars to it.
We had booked deluxe rooms which were quite spacious and had all the basic amenities. The room had wooden flooring and ceiling and interiors were beautiful. Bathrooms were also quite large, clean and well maintained.
There is a beautiful lawn in the center of the property which hosts a sit out area and the view from there is splendid. You can see the high mountains with the city underneath
Since the rooms had wooden floorings and ceilings it was quite a little disturbing when the guests in the room above ran errands.
Also the window curtains aren't very helpful for people requiring complete privacy as there are small gaps between the multiple curtains whilst they are closed.

The best thing about this place is the location, away from the hustle bustle of the city. This place is located on the old road to Manali from kullu in Kias village. I love the peaceful environment and the built of the property.
Nothing that I can say I haven't like, it's a must visit place. Just be patient for the order as there is one person who will prepare things from the scratch but the food is also worth it

Location was excellent and will sooth your eyes.
Staff was also friendly and cooperative
Dishes were too costly and I did not like the taste

The location, the style and the peace
Beds and mattresses were quite uncomfortable and yes no complimentary water was provided in the room.

We booked the hotel for 3 nights but due to emergency had to leave a day early but the owner took full payment food bill was much higher and quantity and quality food was not up to the mark. The hotel charged a good Rs.4500 per room but the room was worthy of Rs.1000-1500/-.only plenty of house flies were in the room.

In the scenic beauty of Kais village u have this cute lil property, the best part is the hospitality by the management and staff who make you feel so much at home. They went out of the way to help us. Food is tasty and fresh.
Nothing as such. Will be back soon

Located around 20 kms from Kullu bus stand, the place is easily accessible by cab (INR 500-600). The location is amazing. The property stands overlooking a valley, and the views from the rooms are fabulous, especially at night. (suggest taking the rooms on the first floor, having a beautiful balcony) There are orchards all around, adding to the charm.
Rooms are spacious, exceptionally clean and very well maintained. The wooden construction and the interiors would make you fall in love with the place! The bed is really comfortable with clean linen and blankets. The room also has a functional heater. The washroom is clean and modern. Hot water is available and we had no problems regarding that.
The staff is really friendly and helpful, always ready to help out or prepare food whenever required. The food overall is tasty and good. Overall, great service!
In summary, the place makes for a memorable getaway to the Himalayas! And helps one detach from the hustle and bustle.
The food pricing, is slightly on the steeper side. While the far flung location might explain a part of it, modifying the prices would be much appreciated.
WiFi wasn't available. But no complaints regarding that, the mobile services (Airtel, Vodafone) were reasonably strong.
(Transportation to the main town is very limited, keep that in mind if you want to explore the town and don't have your personal transport.)
