Looking for a place to stay in a new city can be a bit overwhelming. A trip to honor my fallen brother was made a little bit easier to deal with because of our stay at this property. From the initial booking, the owner was responsive. He offered many recommendations on restaurants and bars in the area. The location was perfect - a short drive (10-15 min) to many attractions including food, shopping, parks. He kept in contact for the duration of our stay, constantly asking if we were good or needed anything. Our flight in was delayed by a few hours causing us to arrive much later than anticipated. The place was clean and very spacious for what we needed. The owner stayed in constant contact. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

We loved the location of this place ~ easy access to tons of fun things! The place was well appointed and we loved the back patio and grassy area to sit and enjoy our morning coffee and hang out at the end of the day. We didn’t cook but could have with well equipped kitchen and outdoor grill. David was a wonderfully helpful and gracious host! We would stay here again!

The home was perfect for our daily adventures. Close to the things we had planned as well as shopping and restaurants. Relaxing and comfortable which allowed for the rest we needed each night. The owner was very responsive when we had questions. Definitely plan to return

The bungalow was as advertised. Location was great. There was the memorial day festival going on as well and the house was in the perfect spot to walk to. Great restaurants nearby, great entertainment nearby as well. Would book this again.

We chose this property because it was handicap accessible. We had Christmas dinner with an aging parent and were more than pleased with the Bijou Bungalow. Love the heated floors in the bathroom. We'll definitely try to stay here again on future trips to Colorado.

We have stayed in at least 6 other VRBO in Colorado Springs and none was as nice as this one. Host was incredibly friendly and responsive. Location is fantastic for walking around Old Colorado City. Will definitely stay here again!

Had a great time at the property with myself and my dog. It is the perfect size for a couple, solo traveler, or someone with a child. The kitchen is well stocked and large. A very cute small backyard as well. Being walking distance to old Colorado city was a great perk. Would recommend / stay again - hopefully soon!

David was an excellent host! The Bungalow was very clean and comfortable! The beds were very comfortable and the evenings were quiet- very relaxing after long days. We enjoyed our stay and felt like we were at home! Thank you!

Great property location to town. Many activities. Owner was ver responsive in getting back to us with any suggestions and questions. Only issue was the internet was very spotty. Owner did try and fix but I believe it was out of his hands. Great place though!!

This was the best experience we have had with vrbo. The house was perfect for the 3 of us. It was centrally located to the attractions we were in Colorado to see and do. VERY clean! It had everything we needed. Furniture was comfortable and very nice. Nice big (and clean) bathroom and shower. Having a washer and dryer was an extra bonus as we went white water rafting and we were able to wash our wet clothes before we started home.

Thr Bijou bungalow was perfect. The layout was set up perfectly and it maximized the space nicely. David is an outstanding host and was always available for anything you need. Highly recommend staying here.

Our stay at the Bijou Bungalow was perfect in every way! David has created a beautifully decorated and appointed space that feels large yet very cozy. The covered patio is a lovely, very private oasis with comfortable seating and dining areas. The breeze was delightful and the sound of birdsong so cheerful in this relaxing space. Our stay was restful as the neighborhood is quiet and safe. We will return here!

Bungalow was very comfortable and offered everything we need. My wife is handicapped, and everything was set up great for her. A big surprise was a pack and play in the unit, as we were in town to see our new grand niece. Great neighborhood. A few blocks from Colorado Ave in Old Town Colorado Springs with all local restaurants, bars, and shops. Grocery store close. Only thing better than the rental unit was David. Best host ever. Rick

My friend is handicapped and this was the only place that was accessible for her. We like to get away and sew, watch movies, and talk. David was wonderful! He helped us in so many little ways. What a delightful stay we had!

There is a detail about this rental that we did not fully comprehend until we checked in. Both of the owner's rentals are in close proximity on the same small lot. (Mentioned in Vrbo description.) A benefit if your party rents both units, but not necessarily so if you don't know the other party. There is just enough space to park two vehicles between the rentals. Off street parking IS a definite plus! Owner built high wooden walls to enclose his lot and give privacy. The neighborhood is dense - many small homes with no garages. Four different parties came and went in the front house during our 11 night stay in this bungalow. One lady sat on her back patio (near our bedroom window) and talked on her cell phone past 10 pm when our lights went out. Another confused renter tried to put his code into our lockbox upon arriving. We froze inside the bungalow. A third renter returned late his first night and backed his monster truck within 4' of our front door instead of parking in his "designated spot". Getting our belongings out the door next day for an early morning checkout was more difficult than it should have been. We also were awakened three nights during our stay by neighborhood disturbances: two raccoons fighting close to bedroom window, dogs barking everywhere probably due to a wandering raccoon, and an on-street car had an alarm go off next door. Not the Owner's fault but we disagree with Owner statement "Quiet Neighborhood" because our "Peace and Tranquility" was compromised again and again. We also will never again preference a rental with a high cleaning fee like this one. The high fee does not promise exceptional results. This rental is an absolute wonderful, comfortable, upscale, 5 star bungalow on the inside. If you like top of the line appliances, a top notch bathroom with a heated tile floor, and a high Queen bed whose mattress slopes toward the middle (ugh), then give this one your consideration. The owner lives nearby, is very attentive to guest comments, and aims to please. Wish I could give this one more stars, but our expression became "what could possibly happen next?" and we were relieved to finally check out.

This is a wonderful place that’s close to everything! We enjoyed our visit to Colorado Springs, and would highly recommend staying here! It’s a beautiful, well kept bungalow with everything you need! Very spacious and a great patio area too! David was easy to work with from start to finish. We hope to return someday!

This property was wonderful and the host was great. As soon as we opened the door we were greeted by music and a bottle of wine. The accommodations were very comfy and made you feel at home. The attention to detail, cleanliness and beautiful decor made our stay just perfect. The heated bathroom floor was awesome. The home was well stocked with everything you need to make your own meals including a BBQ grill set outside on a lovely comfortable patio. The location was close or within a short driving distance. Garden of the Gods is only 5 minutes away. Pikes Peak & Royal Gorge are only about an hour away and well worth the drive. David our host contacted us before we arrived and after we got there to make sure everything was ok and made a great recommendation for a place to eat when we arrived. We would 100% recommend staying here and if we ever return to Colorado this is where we would stay. This is by far the best VRBO we have ever stayed at. Thank you to our host for making our stay so very special.

This was a great stay and the host, David, clearly went out of his way to make us feel like welcomed guests. The space was small but well organized so we never felt cramped. Appliances and furnishings were very high end compared to other rentals I have experienced at this price point. I would recommend this place to my (very picky!) family.

Beautiful, quiet, walking distance to shops etc David is amazing and great to work with. Property well maintained and well equipped. We will definitely be back and definitely tell our friends.

Better place to stay then a hotel and was even able to have our dogs with us. Close to tourist attractions and places to eat. Would definitely come back to stay if we’re in Colorado again.
