It was in a convenient location for my purposes.

It was not clear to me that the tiny reception (with one staff at peak hours) is responsible for numerous properties. This means that the one staff member is gone for 20-30 minutes to check in each guest. I waited a really long time until it was finally my turn to check in only to then arrive at the room to find the cleaners still busy (about one hour or more after the check-in time). So the organisation is really pretty appalling, and of course it means that the front desk staff member gets all the complaints that really should be directed at a higher level of management. As for my apartment, it was fine but split over two levels with bathroom (without toilet) on the top floor with the bed, and toilet and kitchen downstairs. So for one reason or another, I found myself running up and down the stairs a lot, including in the middle of the night.

Super location, very friendly staff, clean and well appointed apartments with all mod cons.

Top floor apartments are very warm this time of year (August) as there is no through air with just one window which opens. Apartments on lower floors are better insulated for heat. Shared verandah has no chairs to sit on at all. Had to sit on the floor or on steel stairs.

We got a small apartment in the centre of Groningen, very modern and quite well equipped. It was easy to find the reception and then they brought us to the apartement itself. We liked the fact that there is a washing machine available.

The bathroom has no door, which we found a bit strange. It is not easy to understand how the lights work (we still don't, really). The appartment is only not situated at the same place as the reception, which as such is fine (and it is in the city centre), but the photos suggest otherwise. As we arrived late, some water in the fridge would have been nice. And the threat to withhold the deposit if anything is not left as it should is a bit exagerated. However, these are all minor points.

It was the most comfortable bed and pillow I ever slept in! The apartment was very quiet, well equipped and cool during hot days. Also excellent location

Host were a very nice and professional team. The location was perfect with everything nearby. A fantastic clean and friendly city. Very quiet room and what a bonus getting the Nespresso coffee a real unexpected treat after a long drive. Perfect.

It’s difficult to even find anything to complain about and i would feel unfair to do so. Aircon would have helped a little but we managed with the fan provided and the temperature was very high 32° so still no dislikes.

Very comfortable with everything you need.

I thought I had booked the same size room as previously but was much smaller so I couldn't entertain. Would be helpful if more clear which unit you are booking

Everything was perfect! Hospitality and cleanliness was 100%. Appartement had everything you expectedly everything was well thought out.

there are multiple locations owned by the same hotel group, even though there was private parking it was not near the guesthouse. Back and forth trip was a bit complicated.

Beautiful location in the very center of Groningen. Upon arrival we were surprised that the reserved apartment was actually a studio, with no separate bedroom. The management has been offering multiple alternatives to remedy this situation, but we decided to stay in the apartment/studio that was assigned to us. The studio is nice, with a subtle combination of classical furniture and modern design, it is spacious, clean with all facilities including a fully equipped kitchen, washing and drying machines free wifi in the apartment. Excellent and very comfortable beds and since the apartments are located on the backside of the building, a very quiet place, despite its location in the mere center of Groningen. Very helpful and friendly staff that goes at length to assist and help.

Expectation management that some apartments proved to be a studio.

Excellent hotel. The apartment was very spacious and cosy. The hotel have carefully thought of everything we wouldn't need, as if we lived in our apartment. The location is perfect

Only a minor thing, this time no soap in the bathroom. It had small samples of shampoo or body lotions but no liquid soap.

The hotel is very conveniently located close to the city centre. Bus and train stations are within walking distance, as are supermarkets. The kitchen facilities are more than adequate. We had to modify our reservations a number of times during our stay. We found the staff extremely helpful and they went out of their way to accommodate our requirements.

The lighting above the kitchen sink could be better and we understand that the facility is to be upgraded during the coming off season months.

It was the second time that we reserved Business Guest House Groningen and we enjoyed both our stays there. There are all amenities in its apartments for families to use during long stay

As the guest house is located in the historical building, the only issue is absence of lift if you need to take suitcase or other heavy stuff upstairs
