Convenient bar and restaurant

Quality could be improved Tv stations and the Tv could be better Bedding could be better quality

Modern room & bathroom. Nice to have a fan in there.

The milk was off. There were pants on the windowsill behind the blind. Towels smelt of food.

The bedding and furniture was nice.

I had no hot water, called and was ignored and had to complain later in the day to the cleaner after having cold shower. I stayed Friday to Sunday, It was fixed by the morning i left but at that point my stay was ruined. They don’t offer breakfast or open in the morning so bring food for morning. The tv in my room was faulty and would turn it’self back on every couple hours which was anoying for sleeping. They have two heavy fire exit doors as entrance with not great soft closes so you will hear everyone in and out allnight !! Finally worst part, i ate downstairs the first night. I got food poisoning and the wedding i was attending the following day at brocket hall i only sadly attended parts. Luckily enough the hotel is only a 7min drive. Safe to say all i had was full fat coke and a few oat biscuits that day. Really ruined the occassion! I wouldn’t recommend this venue, personally i chose it thinking it would be abit nicer than the premier inn being more expensive. Will not return!!

Stairs outside up to rooms, bar food closing early and not being told anything but had to read back of the door

I like the area,the room

Booking.com suggested this alternative to a booking cancelled by a chain hotel at short notice. A modern community pub with South Asian restaurant offering street food to banquet level. Friendly atmosphere and pleasant service. Excellent access from A1(M). Used as a base to meet family in central London

Rooms are accessed by an external staircase, so accommodation is separate from the pub and quiet. However, this would not be ideal for someone with limited mobility.

Nice, clean, comfortable room, it felt like home. Very nice staff.

Uncomfortable bed ( small bed for two persons); In room was smoking smell; In the evening was cold in room, and warm during night ( no heater in room to make how you wish). Just indian food.

Polite at reception

Certainly didn’t like paying £126.50 for a room that wasn’t the same as I expected on the promotional picture £70 would have been more worthy. Refund my account please.

It was clean and excellent value and the pub was a lovely place with great food
