Although we arrived very late, the owner made easy for us to do the check-in and find the keys

The apartment is a great size, with plenty of room for two people. It is stocked with everything you need. You really feel like you’re staying in someone’s vacation home (versus a hastily put together, short stay apartment). A large supermarket is right down the road, and it’s a lovely 8-10 min walk into Bernkastel center. We really enjoyed our stay here. The owner doesn’t speak English at all, but he called his son who does. His son was able to give us all the instructions.

There was no breakfast included. This was clearly indicated, and there are possibilities for breakfast and dinner at easy walking distance. The facilities at the apartment were more than excellent. Highly recommended.
The only drawback is, that the apartment is on the second floor. This may be a disadvantage for some.
