The hotel is clean and well located for a stay in Guelph if you have a car. The breakfast was surprisingly good with hot items. The breakfast room is a bit small so sometimes crowded. The room was clean and comfortable. Parking was free and lots of availability.

The room was dated and past repairs to the furniture were easy to see. We had an interconnecting room, but the people next door were strangers. Loud strangers. I could hear their talking and TV until 3:00 am. The bed coverings were unusual. Not a normal top sheet or comforter.. The Kleenex box was not well stocked. We ran out in the morning. Price was not reflective of the quality.

The entire area was comfortable and felt very safe. Many dining options within walking distance. Areas of interest not too far away. People very codial and helpful. Would visit again

The staff were friendly and kind, but the room had an odd musty smell. It's an older property, but was otherwise quite clean. In room storage was very limited in the 2 queen room I was assigned, without any real working space. The wifi was free, but dropped twice in an hour. Fine for a quick overnight, but I'd not want to try and get work done there for the day.

First time in the city, great location, easy parking. The room was comfortable, clean and bed/pillows were wonderful. Staff was kind and helpful. Would recommend this hotel if visiting the city.

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times over the years. It has recently been renovated inside and outside within the last year. It’s a great place to stay. Close to Chucks Roadhouse and other restaurants. Lots of parking available. Drive up rooms are available. Decent pricing.

I wasn’t very impressed going for breakfast at 9 am and there was absolutely not one thing to eat I understand that the hotel was busy although they should have been prepared I had to pay an extra 60 dollars to go get food

Long check in time. Had to wait an hour to get into our room as it was not cleaned yet. Husband repaired lock on patio door as it was not working. Staff was fantastic and room was clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast included. Definitely would book again.

The check in experience wasn’t all the accommodating nor helpful when problems come up. Rather than help guest circumnavigate issues that arises, it becomes annoying to see the staff at this hotel give off an irate perception and push you out the door In retrospect I kind of get old staying you get what you pay for

We rented a room so we could avoid having to drive two hours home after a wedding and unfortunately ended up with this property that has bedbugs and clearly doesn’t care to have a clean room.
The bedding was filthy. We checked it for bugs and looked around and didn’t notice anything super alarming at first but then again I’ve never dealt with that so I didn’t really know what we were looking for but ended up waking up with multiple bites all over our bodies and a sense of uneasiness that carried throughout today I would strongly recommend that this property fumigates their building, and also make sure that when they put towels and bedding in the room that they’re free of stains and hair hair.
On top of that, the breakfast was almost inedible. The eggs were dry and powdery, and the sausage severely undercooked.

Pro: Staff was great. Cons: Hotel and room had strong cleaner/chemical smell and room had only a sliding door with no screen to get any fresh air. Room was cramped and dirty. (Photos were deceptive, making everything look way better than it was.)

The beds are uniquely comfortable and the location is surprisingly quiet.
The only challenge is that Guelph mostly closes quite early and it's very hard to find hot food other than burger joints after 11 at the latest.

The hotel room had no toothbrush and no toothpaste, which usually should be in every hotel. The hotel washroom was slippery, and I once slipped and got injured. The hotel staff was not friendly and did not help me. i paid around 200 CAD but did not get the service for this money. I don't recommend this hotel to other guests.
