Clean Hotel. Good service. Close to everything.

Bar closed. Restaurant closed. Breakfast vers nice.

I arrived very late at night and was having trouble finding a hotel in the area. I was met by a very friendly worker who helped med out and gave great service.

Good location right on the lake and 5 min walk to town centre. All services closed (probably for Covid) pity caused I chose this hotel just for that. Structure quite dated and you feel it. Room quite small (actually looks like an Ibis room but at a different price). Parking quite expensive I think and with places extremely narrow.

We stayed two nights and throughout our stay the stopper in our sink malfunctioned. We reported it on three occasions but it was not fixed. We were offered a change of room but this was not satisfactory as the first option was suggested after midnight on the first night and we were already for bed and the second offer was made the following afternoon as we were leaving the hotel to attend a weeding. On the morning we checked out our toilet would not flush. While the food at breakfast was fine there is an issue with the layout of the serving station. There is only one station where all the food is laid out. So at busy times you can expect 30/40 people in a line. There are no trays so you are expected to carry whatever you want by hand. As all the food is laid out in this fashion you must move along the line even if you only want something e.g. fruit which is at the end of the serving station. If you forget something or wish an extra portion of something you must get back in line as it next to impossible to cut in. Also there is only one coffee station which again causes unnecessary queues.

Clean, efficient and right in the middle of Potsdam

Nice hotel with perfect location.

Was okay. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room was clean although no double bed for me and my partner 2 single beds. Not so comfortable. Also weird bathroom with no door on it. Room was quite small. No tea / coffee maker in room either. But we brought own kettle. Dont understand why hotels dont have this especially at this price.Other wise was ok. Location is fine around 10 mins walk from main station. 5 mins on tram to old centre.As said staff friendly and helpful.Wifi as good.. 7 out of 10 for me.

Nice business hotel, not a lot of charm that a boutique hotel would have.

It was fine. Bathroom was a little strange since there was no door. But fine when by myself.

My stay at the Mercure Potsdam wan not that confortable. Room services stopped at night. No enough room to hang clothes since no cupboard is available.

Right opposite train station so great location

Stayed 5 nights. Staff members are very attentive and helpful. Buffet breakfast was delightful, with a wide choice of options. The building towers above the rest of the surrounding area, so the view is very nice. Conveniently close to the train station and public transport.

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the years and this was a rather surprising experience. When I tried to pay for dinner at their restaurant (where I had eaten many times before!) by charging my room, I was denied because they told me that I should have a card given to me at check-in, which would show that I had my CC on file with them. I had already my CC on file, but I never got this card. Next day when I checked with the reception, they told me that everything was fine and I do not need this magic card to charge to my room...? The room was very noisy too, several of the neighbors were noisy and the windows are not keeping the street noise out, so I was working all afternoon to the tunes of a merry-go-round that was ~100 m away. The only reason I stay at this hotel is the location, proximity to my meeting venue, but in a future trip I will request a room not facing the main road. With some luck, the merry-go-round will not be there again either.

This hotel claims to have air conditioning but it is only an air circulation system. The staff try and tell you that it is an air conditioning system but it is definitely not. The rooms are much hotter than the corridors and it was much cooler once we actually walked outside the hotel. The standard rooms are extremely small. I do not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.

The air conditioning did not work very well so was hot all night. Asked for a fan but they were unable to provide me with one. The toilet room stunk like rotten sewer for the whole 2 days we were there. I did ask to be moved to another room but was told none was available.

Ideal base to tour Potsdam. Rooms cleverly designed. Superbly fitted out.

Hotel staff very unfriendly and nasty. Do not recommend for people traveling alone. Saturday night, very very extremely loud music, almost till midnight. Was on 11th floor, couldnt sleep much for sunday tour.My last night didnt sleep there, no wi fi. Far from the city. Other chipper hotels have more to offer. I wasted my money.

Great hotel. Just a few minutes walk to the main train station and 10 minutes to the city centre. Expensive wifi but my room was fabulous with a lovely view. I even had a kettle! Would stay again.
