We were in town for the weekend. Hôtel was very close to the Christmas market and just across the bridge from old town. The hotel staff were so helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend the hotel!

No parking available, No bagage drop off space front of hotel, but service was very good, specially the gentleman serving at the breakfast..., , my room was nice with direct view of the fountain, and very close to everywhere.

Beginning a touring vacation of Switzerland. Very happy with hotel experience. The employees were all very helpful and nice. Good location just a few blocks from the lake. Room was comfortable. Shower was nice and hot. Newly upgraded I believe.

Great location, convenient walking distance to citys center, the Beachwalk and lots of restaurants with affordable prices in the proximity. Quiet and easy to get a good nights sleep. Friendly staff and parking available nearby arranged by the hotel.

Very well appointed rooms, nice bathrooms modern, very clean, excellent polite reception staff, we appreciated the chocolate and wine bottle in room as a welcome gift, the reception area fresh infused welcome water table is a nice touch. Convenient to the bus and train stations for all the tours, and close to the waterfront and fountain jet as well.

Very nice front desk people- we came early and they tried to accommodate us. We were checked in by noon. Other than that there is nothing special about this hotel-it’s a 3 star hotel and that’s exactly what it is!

Very cute hotel. In a great location- very central. Love the Swiss decor. Checkin lady was lovely and printed out transportation passes for us to use during our stay. Would have liked to have advance warning of the construction taking place as would’ve found elsewhere to stay. We were in our room ten minutes after an all night flight-desperately needing sleep and jack hammers that make your teeth ache relentlessly went on for 2 hours! They started again at 8am the next morning. We promptly left to begin our city explorations but a little later start would’ve been nice to enjoy coffee before leaving for the day. Not very professional to not have advance warning.

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. I thought they were very helpful and went the extra mile to give me a phone charger and provide recommendations.
Location is perfect close to two grocery stores, restaursnts etc. Its also only 10 min from train station 5 mon from the lake.
Room was nice clean with excellent shower/bathtub combo and good water pressure/temperature. Probably the best ive ever had at a hotel.

This hotel was perfect for our 2 night stay in Geneva. It is so beautiful inside you feel like you’re staying a modern cabin. The wood details around the hotel was so charming. The staff was amazing. The restaurant is a must. It’s so much fun with the decor and music.

Hotel Edelweiss is well situated, quite charming with exceedingly friendly staff, but.. beds are simply too hard, bathrooms does not function well and the breakfast is substandard with undercooked greasy bacon and scrambled eggs which are at best a yellow-greyish substance with little taste.
Simple things that could easily be fixed and we would most likely come back.

Loved the decor, nice touches in the room to feel traditional Swiss. Location is excellent, literally around the corner from the lake. Had self-controlled AC.

Charming Swiss vibe close to everything in the city. Loved the authentic fondue experience at the restaurant. Train station is a 10minute walk.

Hotel itself is lovely, looks to be recently renovated. Rooms are well kept and staff are very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast and excellent location to the centre of town and to the train station.
Only downside is the rooms do not have air con that cools the room, it only heats.
Other than that would highly recommend.

The decor is lovely, although I was surprised to see carpet in the rooms, that’s unusual these days.
Also it was a truly great breakfast; sausages, potato cakes, scrambled eggs plus the option of sliced deli meat with tomato and cucumber. A very good selection of cheeses too. Just loved the muesli with fruit and the yogurts.
Note that there are four steps up to the entrance, but staff helped with luggage. Location is great, the bus from the train station stops in the square and it’s about 2 blocks from the lake. Beside the hotel is the Denner? grocery store which I found fascinating, and there is a Monoprix close by too.The transportation system in Geneva is excellent, so it’s easy to get around especially with the transit passes provided by the various hotels. ( these passes include the mouettes which cross the lake)

The upgrade to the larger suite was lovely, plus birthday surprises as well.
The dinner in the restuarant was superb, and everyone should do the fonsue cooking lesson, so much fun and cheese.
