The room we stayed in smelled bad like mold and after telling them they never did nothing. And on the last day saw a big flying roach.

This is hotel is full of families and national tourists. Only 1 pool and it was full of kids and adults during our stay. The staff is friendly, the first day we had to move rooms as there were small ants or bugs in our room. They asked us if we wanted our room fumigated and we asked to be moved. During our stay we smelled like rooms were being fumigated. Also, there’s not much to do in Ixtapa so would opt to stay in Zihuatanejo.

We traveled with several family members, a handicapped room was requested before hand and they didn’t not give my parents that use a walker a handicapped room. Instead the hotel staff told us to just change our room with their room but they were given a king size bed, we needed two beds for four people. Our reservation was all inclusive and they didn’t have all inclusive so it was just a huge mess for us going to go get food to eat! We will never stay there again. After that we felt that we were being watched every second. Then at the pool I went to lay on a bed I had to use the bathroom I left my towel there and bag, they were picked up by the staff accusing me of saving the bed. I wasn’t even gone for more than 5 min. But the bed beside had a couple there they left their towels and stuff and no one ever came to pick up their stuff!

I didn't like the service, at the first they dont give us the room at 3pm, because they weren't ready, so we wait 45min. And after that they give me a wrong room. Another thing, the food was very bad, " they make onions soup" who going to eat onion with hot water" god!! and the alcoholic drinks was terrible "cheaper alcohol". The hotel is safe, and clean. The personnel is kind.

Amazing!! We have stayed at this beautiful resort 1-2 times a year since 2018. Emporio has an excellent staff and always goes above and beyond for their guest! We rented two rooms, a superior king, and wow!! My parents were mesmerized by all of the beautiful views of the ocean and resort from their bedroom. The exquisite details of the housekeeping left were appreciated. We will continue to recommend Hotel Emporio to family and friends

That there were some other places nearby the hotel, so the location of the hotel it was really good

Great location, clean but only one pool which was full every day. The music played on high from 10 am to 10 pm. An announcer yelled into the microphone most of the day and blew a whistle for pool exercises for 15 min straight. No where could you relax without loud music.

The staff was amazing and very prompt room service. Everybody was very welcoming and friendly. Our room was very clean amd maintained daily. All the music stopped at 11.00pm so we had no problems sleeping. We will definitely stay here again.

Although the property provided good value with the optional all inclusive options , selling day passes put added pressure on what was already a smaller pool for a property that size, and made finding poolside chairs more difficult. Would be nice to see a kids pool more actively used. Staff was great and accommodations were clean but the rooms could use a little modernization. Overall a good experience and I like the fact that you had the option to choose an all inclusive package or not.

something in room always needs fixing but never happens..toilet leaked on floor every day. kitchen faucet was put in by 10 year old. Music at pool way too loud and told to everyone in charge. would turn down only when they were there then back up. The activities group have been the worst ever. used to be 2 pool volleyball per day and there was never any announcement of such, they said no mic , full hotel and can't buy a mike??? other previous kids wld just shout out and go find players these current ones sat under tent and played with phones. Had mikes when it came to super loud music that everyone complained about. Manager no help!!!
