Great bang for your buck👍

Nice and friendly staff. Nice spacious room but out dated furniture. No option for free in room safe to store valuables. Water heater and coffee cups provided but no coffee or tea provided

My rating for the staff was based on the restaurant staff and one of the receptionists. My overall stay was scary and unpleasant. 1- on the first night I had a very unpleasant experience with one of the guards, I felt like he was following me to my room; when I asked him about it he told me relax, then he turned around and walked in the opposite direction. I asked to be relocated for the remaining of my stay 2- still on the first night in my first room the neighboring guests were noisy and I could hear everything and I mean EVERYTHING even intimate moments. Not sure if these people were having a party but there was loud talking, laughter and slamming of doors throughout the night. I was relocated for my second night stay and that room was better, I finally got a good night rest, so I thought “this place is actually not that bad”. I was WRONG 3- on my final night guess what, someone opened the door to my room at 9:12pm. Yes I said opened, used a key card turn the lock and entered the room, thank God I had the chain on so they didn’t gain full entry. I started to scream and the person on the other end apologized. I reported the situation to the Front desk upon my checkout and they were shocked and apologized - they asked me if I requested any service to my room “AM NO”, the “do not disturb” tag was on the door.

Great place with friendly staff and comfortable accommodations. 5 min walk to the main road where local public transportation is quite easy! This saved us tons as we didn't have to pay a hotel taxi 3 times the price to get to the same beaches and popular spots! Amazing little restaurants and cafes just a short walk away and there is a minimart just around the corner. Great option for families or groups or ppl on a budget

IT WAS A NICE EXPERIENCE

Everything was fine, there was a beautiful small beach with sunbeds, otherwise 2 pools, arround the hotel many things to do including a bus station to go to Bridgetown. I‘m very relaxed now - it was a wonderful stay with you, thanks for everything! I‘ll come back again Gabi

Property sits on the beach which is a plus. Has a restaurant and bar right on site. Views of the sea from the restaurant are spectacular and very calming. Staff was AMAZING. Any and everything we asked for we received with a smile. Housekeeping staff cleaned the rooms and did an incredible job. Rooms smelled fresh and sanitized after every cleaning. The only drawback is the hotel van only runs until 5pm due to not having another person to drive in the evening. There’s other restaurants(3-10mins) and a convenience store(5 mins) within walking distance. The GAP(nightlife and restaurants) is a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute taxi ride. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

It was okay - some staff were okay (restaurant) and some from the front desk were not. Main pool was closed most of the trip, other pool had to wait and ask for chairs to be put out. As I mentioned, the hotel is okay, level or service/speed could be improved and would make for a better experience, most staff you had to ask for help several times and just overall service was very slow.

The property was convenient to eateries

If you're working with a limited budget this might be the place for you. TV didn't work and kept saying no signal. Restaurant attached to the hotel. The food was palatable. Not much activity in that area. You have to take transportation to get some entertainment.

I enjoyed my stay

Nastiest place I ever stay poop stains in the toliet. Table had wear and tear. Toliet set had builted up residue from previous stay. 50 usd if you dont return the key and the lady at the front desk with the short hair needs to be professional very nasty attitude

Good location on the beach with many restaurants nearby. Our 3 rooms were old and dated with no view but comfortable. Crabs kept crawling under the doors to enter our rooms but we found that kind of charming. The pool was fantastic and very warm.

I like the location and staff were friendly and helpful rooms are clean snd well presented. My only complaint is the bathroom was dirty black tile grouting toilet could do with a good clean the sink was cracked. Could not use the mirror as the tv was placed right in front of it. The mirror in the bathroom was ok but not enough light in there.

Amazing stay

Needs updating. Microwave in the room didn’t work. We got accused of smoking in the room and fined 250$ which we didn’t pay because we didn’t smoke in the room. Wouldn’t stay at this property again. The beach was all seaweed.

I like the convenience of the location of the hotel, the Plumbing needs to be documented by the Maids, therefore problems could be addressed before rooms are assigned to travellers. Light fixtures need cleanings, swarm of light yellow bugs crawling thru gap between the doors ultimately finding their way all over the kitchen counter is scary and unexceptable. I love Dover beach hotel, been a customer over 10 years.

Dover Beach Hotel is a small but clean hotel where the beach and main road are easily accessible . The Sea Grape restuarant served a simple menu of tasty meals. The staff at the hotel were always friendly and ready to assist with transport or tours. The room was tidied every day and the ac worked well, especially on the extremely hot days when we came back from a tour or the beach. I would stay there again!

It was ok for a first floor

Dover Beach Hotel is such a cute and quaint hotel, located in one of the best spots in Dover. Right next to/on the beach and a short walk into the Gap, for us it was perfect. The staff are all so lovely and really try to make sure your needs are met. The room was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed in our kitchenette. We enjoyed our days between both pools and thoroughly enjoyed the choices for breakfast at the restaurant on site-the waffles are so yummy. There are some great spots to grab lunch or dinner on the main road, in particular Socialites and Irie Foods are fantastic! The vibe at the hotel is laid back, comfortable for everyone. You can really tell the staff care about how you're liking your stay. This wasn't our first stay here and certainly won't be our last! Keep up the good work DBH team! Thank you for a lovely time :)

The location is very good and the rooms are big and comfortable.

The staff was very accommodating

The restaurant staff are in dire need of customer service training. We had to seat ourself, find our own menu and cutlery and dust the sand off the chairs and tables before sitting. Ordered a soup starter and mains and for some inexplicable reason everything was served to us all at once. By the time we were done with our soup which was unbarebly sweet for a "vegetable soup" our mains were cold. Food lacked flavour and staff were cold and unprofessional. When done with the meal no one showed up for us to sign off on the bill....we had to go find the staff ourselves. Overall a very dissapointing experience.

Everything was ok

Only one night in transit. They arranged for late check in. Nice pool and access to everything on the Gap. Rooms a bit dated but clean and comfortable. Checkout at noon is included and was great. Small restaurant but adequate for the breakfast we had.

Great view and great staff.

A typical 3 star hotel. The front desk staff are very lovely, friendly and welcoming. I was disappointed that there was no coffee machine in the room because that’s standard at all hotels. We had to buy our own coffee at the convenient store down the street. We asked for small packets of cream and sugar from the restaurant at the hotel but they refused to give us any unless we purchased a coffee from them. The water from the shower head was spilling over the glass door and making a puddle in our washroom on the first day but the staff quickly jumped on it and fixed this immediately. It’s a good hotel if you’re looking for something more affordable while travelling. The location is perfect and in the lively st. Lawrence gap area. Very touristy and the locals are very kind and friendly. We never felt uncomfortable even when we were walking around in the dark at night.

The room had a odor when you first walk in. Improve on toiletries. Make property repairs

The staff were really personable, kind and professional. The rooms were clean and correct. The common areas are not in perfect condition, but that was a fair trade-off for the price. In total it was a pleasant stay without the cost of luxury resort prices.

I stayed in the Studio Ocean View. The View was Spectacular and the room was everything I expected. Amazing Hospitality and great location! Totally recommend..
