We've stayed here before and really enjoyed it. The staff are first class, really really nice and friendly and very helpful too.
However, the rooms are tired, the bathroom particularly so. Having said that, it is good value and we'll be back again.

Nice building and helpful staff, but the condition of the furniture was not good ( broken chair leg) and there was a lot of noise, including audible conversations from other rooms. Compared with other places we have stayed, this was poor value for money.

It was a "cosy" room, unfortunately this meant small, right next the road with little to no sound proofing. Cars/trucks/motorbikes/sirens - zero sleep. Unless you sleep like a log be careful on booking one of these rooms.
The service at the bar - had a £2.50 Thatchers, in a can, poured in a glass, half froth, "wrong glass", poured into another glass, more froth, rest of can slowly dripped in. . .
Walking up to the room, the small corridor had a fire door on it, wedged open - with the smoke exhalation vents from the kitchen below right next to it. The corridor smelt of old fat. . thankfully the room wasn't too bad.
It's a shame I've stayed here before and it's be "ok" - but this time was awful. . .check your room and unless you are a VERY heavy sleeper. . .do not pick a room facing the road (had I know I'd have not taken that room!)

The hotel in itself was ok, however as we were going to a wedding the following morning we left in a rush and had left my silk pillowcase behind. We realised later on in the evening and came back to the hotel to see if the staff had given the item to lost and found. It is understandable for any hotel to not take any responsibility for any lost items, however to say to us that they dont have the item or they couldnt find it is unacceptable especially because it was forgotten there. Something so specific like a grey silk pillowcase wouldve caught housekeepings attention and shouldve been handed back!

The staff were really friendly and helpful, service with a smile. An ordered cappuccino got forgotten, when I asked after it, there was much apologising and a free beer was brought out as way of apology which was appreciated. The lady on reception was really helpful.
Our room faced the road so was really noisy. The breakfast was dreadful, was not freshly cooked, both our poached eggs were hard, the baked beans old and sausage dried out - they did offer something else, but I just requested a refund which was given. The manager did insist it was freshly cooked, but it 100% was not, but the complaint was handled well.

The food and the staff were excellent. The room was a bit dated, but the main issue was the amount of light coming through the curtain at night, curtains need to be improved.

Staff: Friendly and helpful staff.
Room: Average but Clean. Cloakroom Small, w.c. too close to wall. Excellent shower.
Parking: Good, avoid the one under the trees.
Food: Dissapointing. 3 course lunch & breakfast.
Also Only one small toaster which didn't work correctly, you have to wait about 5 mins or so before it toasts.

Very late arrival after flight from abroad. Only 15 mins from Gatwick! Minor issues with night porter over payment at 2am but sorted out in the morning.

From minuses - The property is a bit dated. If you stay at the ground floor the parking is just through your window so can be very noisy. There is no zebra crossing on the road and no pavement on the side of the road where the hotel is so it is a bit dangerous to cross the road if you need to walk down hill (to work or to the train station).
From pluses - the staff is super friendly and helpful. The room has new tea, coffee and biscuits delivered every day. The breakfast is really nice with lots of options.

It's been a bit refreshed but is a bit dated still. Room was ok, stain on the duvet cover which was a bit off putting. However - the real issue, buy a drink at the bar £6, I get another, get some food - and that when I noticed service charges suddenly being added without my approval and without any notification that they would include it! Next drink was nearly £8! I will be raising this with the hotel but be aware - I'm not impressed!

We have been guests for over 2 years and on this last visit was superb! Undoubtedly significant dining changes specifically breakfast area. Amiss is an extreme customer service devotee and ensures her guests experience their morning beginnings with a smile and the best service. Much improvement to kitchen culinary staff food was fresh and delicious not dried up left overs like before a few months in spring. 5 stars

Made to feel welcome by staff and enjoyed a pleasant stay. Would have preferred a dedicated shower cubicle in bathroom as getting in out of bath to shower was awkward and nearly fell backwards getting out

Our recent visit started on a bad note when the hotel tried to double charge us even though we had prepaid, the room was very noisy, there was an event on and I could not sleep. I had a terrible night sleep and woke up exhausted. The breakfast was average, not great. The hotel needs to do better. I will not be back ever again that is for sure.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast. Bed super comfortable! Excellent shower. Spacious room. Bedroom Could be cleaner and perhaps done up as a little tired looking. Repainted. New fixtures in bathroom etc. communal areas lovely so overall would definitely recommend.

Breakfast Buffet selection could have been a bit better for the hot food. Great shower but the screen was a bit small so bathroom gets a bit wet. Very friendly and helpful staff!

Stay was ok until departure when a speeding car sped past the rear or my car whist I was reversing out of a tight bay in hotel car park, apparrantly taking a late member of staff to the hotel. Partly blocking the passageway the car stopped for some time to let the staff member out of passenger seat. As I was trying to get passed it it carved me up by turning right in fron of me . All very dangerous, Need speed limits in car park and staff should be advised about the dangers. This problem casts doubt on whether I stay again.

I booked a superior double room and was given what they called the bridal suite. It was a big room with a very plain 4 poster bed, and a very soft mattress. A little underwhelming and disappointing had I been a bride I think. The dressing table chair was broken and very uncomfortable, and I struggled to get the room warm. Cleanliness was good, and breakfast was fine.

Second consecutive year l have stayed at Reigate Manor, five nights this time.
Perfect location, convenient for M25, yet quiet and peaceful rooms. Ideally situated for exploring Surrey, comfy and spotlessly clean.
Only one gripe, the Bar Menu/Room Service is very expensive. Perhaps this is typical of the South of England, but an eye opener to a Northener !

Beautiful hotel in a good location in Reigate. Only ate breakfast but that was excellent. Very good value.

We paid for a superior room with possible upgrade. We did not get a superior room until 2 nd night. The breakfast was disgraceful food awful t breakfast as they had someone who was overwhelmed and did not know what to do. We did point this out and they apologised. However we did not get any compensation for our first night.
No fridges in rooms to keep anything cold. No air conditioners. The garden room is old and needs renovating badly. Curtain drapes smell old and musty.
Parking is a nightmare for guests every time hotel has events. This has to be seriously resolved. Event guests should have other parking offsite.
