The staff was amazing. Everyone was so friendly and helpful! The property (especially the bathroom) could use some updates. For example the metal tub showed some rust in it and the light fan combination was very loud. The heat/air was not central, etc., but our room was nice and clean and the bed was pretty comfortable, especially for the price. The location and view was awesome. Right on the river and yet close to several good eateries. I would stay here again.

We stay here for the Bluegrass Festival every year. Good location on the river with a cooling breeze, pet friendly with lots of grass to walk on, but extra charges. Room good with no complaints, everything functions and its clean. Good value, we will be back again next year. One block from Angels Cafe which is the oldest "silver trailer" cafe in Florida. 1932. Also, Palatka historic district two blocks away. Free breakfast is nothing to write home about.

Well located riverfront hotel with great views of the St. Johns river and a beautiful bridge. Nice restaurant with outdoor seating next to the river. Room was not as clean as I would expect from any hotel no matter what the price. No excuse for the toilet seat to have dried up urine drops or to find a dead roach inside the empty fridge. Aside that Palatka is a beautiful city worth visiting but my next stay won't be at this hotel

Breakfast Lady Shut the breakfast lounge door 5 min prior to 9am. She was kept talking loudly, either talking to someone in back or phone via ear piece. There were plenty of hot eggs in the hot griddle, which she brought approx 10 min prior to closing the door,

Had too many non resident on property fishing and eating breakfast.

The first room I recivied was dirty, smell of smoke (had non - smoking rm; the shower was dirty and the shower water would not turn off. I spoke with person upfront she made it right with a clean rm and clean bathroom and it was what I expect from This hotel.

The room and beds were decent. We rented 2 rooms for 2 days. However, we called on August 17th at 9 pm and requested a modification of our room. We realized a family member would need a walk in shower - at the time we were told one room would be an accessible room and one regular room. Upon arriving we were told there were no accessible room available and the front desk person actually asked what limitation we had and actually seemed irritated. And said there were no notes in the file. So basically we were penalized because someone didnt make notes in the file. It was explained on the call that the person would not be able to step into the tub as she is handicapped. Plus breakfast was included. However it appeared that they only had one employee working the breakfast area on both days and on both days they were extremely slow keeping up with the people there for the holiday weekend. They actually had nothing out the second day at 9:15 Even though the breakfast time showed 10 o'clock and I realize that they don't want to restock it at 945, but even the the cold stuff could have been taken back at 10 o'clock was already put up. The coffee was already put up at 915 to 930. I did take pictures to prove it so you would have the time and the day if you would like to see how much there was left out
