We return every year because it is easy to access and convenient to almost all the things we come to do in KC.

Pros :The property has gone through some recent renovations which was nice as some of the recent reviews made me believe that only some of the rooms were updated. Check in for me was quick. I had 2 rooms reserved and we got them side by side. Breakfast was great, lots of options. The area in Overland Park was easy to get to and parking was good, however they shouldn't be charging $7/day to park, I feel like this is a nickel and dime charge and should be re-evaluated. Cons or personal dislikes This hotel is close to a sports complex so there were a lot of kids ball teams here over the weekend. This is more of a parenting or coaching issue but the staff could have also intervened and asked adults to keep their kids under control. Kids in the running around the hotel unsupervised, hitting all the buttons in the elevator, yelling in the common areas. They were literally running through the hotel, small kids (5-8 years old). This lasted from early evening until about 10PM. I would think at some point the staff would ask adults to contain their kids as to not disturb other guests in the hotel. This was in other reviews as well, so if this will bother you I would call and ask if they have any large groups or teams before you book.

This place had roaches in two different rooms it wasn't until they moved me on the 5th floor that it got better! I think it is a shame that if you boo with a third party your treatment is different even if you are a rewards member. The front desk advised they Couldn't refund my money because I had booked through a third-party but when I called Expedia, they asked they didn't agree to give me my money back because because they gave me another room. I had to change my room in the middle of the night and earlier that day would not stay on lower level floor.

Very cleqn and friendly. But can you reevaluate the pet policy please. Woke up to the people above our room dog barking and whining and them arguing with their kids. Other wise was a nice hotel outside those 2 issues

Stopped for work .. place was sold out with unsupervised kids roaming around all night .. reception was busy and all snacks gone immediately with no restock and breakfast was even worse … nice place but don’t stay if sports stuff is booked u won’t enjoy your stay !!!

This was by far the nicest hotel I have stayed at.

One el variety was broke, and the other one was very slow. Door handle on bathroom was broke, but they fixed it the first night.

Staff was nice and place was clean. Only one elevator was working the whole time for a busy hotel so the wait was long everytime. Buzzing in the walls would come and go, almost like a cellphone on vibrate was stuck in the wall. Fire alarm went off a few times one night. No announcement was made to let us know everything was ok or not. Guests were not made to leave the hotel. I would stay at this hotel again because overall the place was clean and quiet enough with the place full of youth sports players. Good breakfast food selection and parking was easy as well.

Overall I enjoy staying at this hotel. However this time, the room was uncomfortably warm, even after turning the air down. Also, there was hair all around the bathroom .

Just surprised that when we got to the hotel they changed for parking and only one elevator was working.

You know the breakfast is really good. But the rest of my stay was a ghetto hot mess. The alarm kept going off, there was a fight, loud music playing, my room wasn’t ready, must I go on. This Embassy is in a good area but the hotel hospitality needs upgrading.

This is was nice hotel, however , hotel . Com. Charged us 30$ over what the room actually went for.. so i sugest not using this site. Because you can get the room rate cheaper off the acual hotel site. I was not happy to find that out when i got the reciept from the hotel at check out.

Their staff are outstanding. They go above and beyond to take care of their guests. Every one of them were pleasant and helpful. This is our FAVORITE hotel.

The hotel, service and spaces were great! The only thing was the tiny bathroom with the toilet and shower.

Overall condition of the room was a bout average … However main issue was the elevator doesn’t work to floor 6 … Overall maintenance on property is lacking

Showers outdated for expensive rooms. Rooms hot. Bar didnt have mixers for margaritas. Shrimp came out on a salad and had tails on it and over cooked and was very strong. Definitely not fresh

The Fire Alarm kept going off after midnight. New Years Eve/Day It happened twice that night. I was told it happen on Saturday & Friday night before. I was wondering if kids were triggering that alarm when I stayed because there was ALOT of teenagers that night. The pool looked Dirty & the Hot Tub didn't look very clean. My Suite was very clean & the bed was comfortable. The Breakfast was very good.

Overall, it was a really nice hotel room with a clean and friendly staff. The breakfast is a typical hotel breakfast, and many may find it underwhelming. The pool was pretty small and quite loud if you have more than 4 or 5 people in it, so just be forewarned. The bed was comfortable, and the staff were great.

New years I get it’s about staying up late, but to be woken up 3 times at 2:20 am, and staff not being able to work the fire alarm panels having allowed guests to go into the back office to do their jobs is unprofessional to say the least. Then on top of that being asked this morning what I would like to be done better by the front desk associate. Terrible stay, bad attitudes, and lack of knowledge about the hotel has me scared to stay at another Hilton hotel.

Not the properties fault but they did not handle the situation. Teen aged kids running around until 4 in the morning constantly pulling the fire alarms multiple times. We stayed at the hotel but never slept at the hotel because of all the alarms going off every 20 to 30 minites.

Liked the property. Nice large room. Wish they did not charge extra for parking.
