The Room was not clean to say the least. Bathroom was extremely dirty and the Toilet had feces stains inside and out. The bed did not have the usual covers that You would expect to find to keep it free of Bed Bugs and I ended up inspecting the whole matress to insure it didn't have any. It wasn't even covered with a fitted sheet it was covered with a flat sheet. The Comforter was dirty so We removed it altogether. The side tables were extremely dirty. All be told as Tired as We were We ended up taking a Late Night Trip 11PM to CVS which was the only place open at this time. To buy cleaning supplies and spent the next 2 Hours cleaning and still couldn't bring Ourselves to get comfortable in this place. Never again Sonesta. I attempted to load photos but it wasn't allowing Me to do so but I can provide on request. I work hard for My Money as an Officer and this was a total waste and then some and an extreme inconvenience! Sad part is that this place was recommended to Us but unless there's ample restitution, Never Again!

I’m sorry to say but I will never stay here again. I had to have my room switched 3 times. The first room, the walls were filthy and nasty. The furniture was ripped and old. The room smelled horrible. The second room, the walls were filthy and not cleaned. The furniture in that room was ripped and torn. The door to the room wouldn’t lock from the outside. The 3rd room was better than the first two but not by much. Again the walls looked as if they have never been cleaned. The furniture looked very old and warn out. This Hotel looks like a roach hotel. They had the nerve to hold 100 dollar incidental fee, as if these rooms were in satisfactory condition. I have pictures that I will be uploading soon. Overall this Hotel is nasty and unclean. They are in it just for the money and not for customer satisfaction.

Upon arrival the carpet was really wet The bathroom sink was dirty Didn’t get access to the pool My refrigerator in my room didn’t work to make ice cubes The stove was small I had to cook one dish at a time There was no oven The sink was leaking

The carpet was very dirty and all room doors needed more force to open and close. The room keys given at check-in were not working the second day, and had to get it changed. Loud music being played by neighboring room at night.

The basketball court is gone. The floors are hideous.I turned on the heat and the smoke detectors kept going off and it smelled like something was burning and also the staff won’t answer the dang phone I have to walk to the front to get services sometimes.

It was fine up to the last day. Quiet, comfortable, front desk was nice. The people next door were cool. I extended my stay for another since I was enjoying it so much that I said let me stay another night, the next day house keeping was non stop banging on my door. Then they opened my bedroom window where I was sleeping and said I didnt know anyone was in here. Really?

Property was not properly maintained. and Issues with the damaged doors.. bathroom did not have sufficient utilities and amenities

This was the worst place I’ve ever stayed it was dirty they staff was racist and rude the carpets was so nasty nobody came to clean the rooms like I asked I was told they only clean once a week so I had to buy my own cleaning supplies asked for fresh towels and rags no one ever showed up worst vacation ever didn’t get to swim due to the so many children there it was horrible

The carpet in the room was very dirty and the sofa bed was filthy

I ask for rag and towels they completely ignored my request and shower was not working

Room size was great but smelled horrible like cigarette smoke and had black hairs on everything including bedding sheets and towels

Cigarette holes in comforter, dirty carpet, weird smell. Pool area is packed with people who were not wearing pool bands, not even sure if they were staying there.

We stayed here for a recent trip into nyc. The room was amazing and clean. The only suggestion is having more pans in the kitchen. We couldn’t find a baking sheet

The staff was very friendly. We were on the second floor. There’s no elevator. We had to lug everything up ourselves.The room was run down. They only allowed someone to clean your room if you stay a week. We were there 5 days. The grounds were neat. Pool was a little dirty. We wouldn’t stay there again.

Pool was great. Room was tired and badly stained carpet. Room smelled only to find plastic baggie coveted up smoke detector so meant previous people smoking. Sink filthy. No conditioner in container. I told staff about all of the above abd they were indifferent. Literally a fire hazard. Neighbors up til 3 am. Disappointing.

The staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was very good.

Suite was nice but air con was not working during a heat wave. Ended up staying 1 day instead of 2 but got charged for 2 days. Called the front desk and the there was NO problem getting the erroneous charge reversed. The front desk person was very nice and apologetic about the error.

Bugs!!! Lots of bugs! When we entered the room bugs everywhere! Live spider and spiderweb on the dishwasher. Seems like the room has not been used for months and they didn’t even bother checking it before letting someone use it. I immediately went back to the front desk to complain and say the room has bugs. Showed the photos of the bugs to Jeremy in front desk. Then Jeremy replied “Yes it’s summer. There will be bugs.” I was floored with that reply. Unbelievable! If i rented a cabin in the woods then yes I expect there to be bugs. But a hotel?? A suite with bugs?? Unacceptable! I left the hotel cancelled our room. Didn’t even stay another minute at that hotel. Never staying at another Sonesta again.

Everything was great. Our room was very off the path behind parking and wasn’t the best for my elderly mom who is 77. But she made it. What I hated the most had nothing to do w the place it had to do with people who smoked in doors and you could smell it thru the walls that grinds my gears. I don’t care about what people do it’s the smell. There were many guests and I didn’t ask for a room change but that was the only issue. The staff were really kind and sweet.

The tenants next door was noisy at late night hours

Pool was open, but only from 11-8. Pool was clean, breakfast was great! No rollaway beds 😕 staff was friendly.

We checked in too late at night to try to change rooms but when we walked in, there was an immediate smell and then we turned on the lights and noticed that the coach had stains. The dining chairs hadn't been wiped down. The carpet was filthy and needed to be replaced. The pool water was very mercky and the staff said they were working on it. We asked for more towels because they originally only gave us 3 for a room holding 6 people and when the guy gave us the towels, he was sick and was coughing over our towels as he handed them to us. As someone who travels year round, I can confidently say this was the dirtiest hotel we've ever stayed in. This was our 1st experience with sonesta and we had another sonesta booked in ATL directly after this stay but we've since then cancelled all upcoming reservations with sonesta due to the dingy standard that we experienced in new Jersey. It was also very loud from the surrounding people and you could smell the smoke of those smoking on the balcony. They have lots of work to do

The very beautiful place, the very clean rooms, it is very cozy the problem I had was, because I asked to be given my room away from smokers, and it turns out that the gentleman from the next room sat smoking in my window, I stayed two nights and those two nights did not sleep at all because of the noise, music at high volume the smell of cigarettes and marijuana, I went with my family husband and 3 small children, which we had to pay for not resting at all.

Very outdated and old

The dishwasher leaked water. The sink has been full since the first day. The room was not cleaned throughout our stay. Despite repeated complaints, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner were never replenished. Despite multiple calls to room service, we had to collect towels from the front desk. We had to wash dishes during our vacation despite having a dishwasher in the room. The bedsheets were not changed at any point. Upper floor was making lot of noise late mid night

The room smelled like smoke and the carpet was dirty. I also seen too many bugs around the room. I actually killed one bug…yuck! Never again.
