Wonderful hotel and the best restaurant.

My sister & I celebrated my birthday by doing an overnight trip to Connecticut. We stayed at the J House Greenwich, booked a show at the Comedy Club, and had brunch at Tony’s at the J House. Upon hotel arrival we were greeted by the nicest hotel staff and complimentary Prosecco. Our room was ready a bit earlier than check in time. The room was absolutely fabulous!! Incredible clean (I’m very OCD with the cleanliness of hotel rooms and usually end up cleaning everything down to feel comfortable)…NOT HERE, I did not feel like I had to clean a thing, I immediately felt comfy-cozy, refreshed, and at home. The room was super up-to-date with in-room tech controls (e.g., blinds and lights), updated mirror tv & apps, smart tv in bathroom mirror, and a modern bidet with heated seat & dryer setting. Also a very clean shower with great water pressure. The decor in the room and throughout the hotel was hip & chic…a really cool vibe. Everyone who worked at the hotel was unbelievable kind and super cool! Thanks to Catherine, Emma, Abraham, and Luis for making the best stay ever and such a great birthday! They truly went above and beyond to make us feel so special! We had brunch at Tony’s, which is an absolutely stunning restaurant. Great service, food, and drinks. We stopped at the bar on three separate occasions and all experiences were great, again, great atmosphere, service, food & drinks! We felt so welcomed by the friendly atmosphere at the J House Greenwich-will be back for sure!

The HVAC system is way overcomplicated. Maint. Personnel was requested 3 times - never warmed up in our suite. Valet service totally ignored us when we went to get our vehicle - 3 workers were there at the time - no one helped us. We got tired of waiting and used our extra key and went on our way - they did not even notice our car was gone until the next day when I requested my key back. They were quite confused. The menu in our room was only for the lunch menu apparently. We were in a hurry and called for food to be delivered to our room. We were told we could only order from the dinner menu. When I explained that I was ordering from the only menu in our room - I was treated rather rudely by the hostess. No recycle containers in the room and the dish washer had a foul odor - stagnant water - when it was opened. I travel a lot for my business - Overall - the worst experience I have had with a supposedly luxury hotel. My room cost was over $500.00 for the night. Very poor value. Will never go back to this facility.

Great boutique hotel close to downtown Greenwich and Old Greenwich.

My daughter and I needed to take a night away and just enjoy and relax. Dinner at Tony’s was absolutely delicious, as always. Very nice staff helped make the meal special.

Everything was wonderful. Enjoyed the modern room, Tony’s Steakhouse and 2 massages at the Spa.

JHouse is a wonderful place to stay. The staff was very helpful. Our room was clean comfortable with many amenities.

SUPER CLEAN WITH AMAZINGLY QUICK RESPONSE WHEN PROBLEMS ARISE. COMFORTABLE BED BUT SERIOUS LACK OF CLOSET SPACE MAKING IT DIFFICULT TO STORE ITEMS FOR OUR FORMAL AFFAIR THE NEXT DAY. LIGHTING SYSTEM IS HIGH TECH BUT THERE IS POOR CONTROL OF INDIVIDAL LIGHTS THROUTHOUT THE ROOM. RESTAURANT IS OUTSTANDING.

I was looking for relaxed resort type, but it was a party style hotel.

It’s a very beautiful hotel. They have two restaurants,the hotel is very comfortable and they make your stay very special. Can’t wait to go back again.

Room not that great for this price

Spoke on phone with an employee. He hung up on me was very rude. I spend a lot of money at this establishment. Will never come back.

We loved this place!! The hotel felt like a cozy high end house. Warm and so clean. Everyone was nice and helpful. Our room was absolutely beautiful and had so many high end additions. Such as a toilet that was basically a robot and a tv in the bathroom mirror! Tony’s restaurant within the hotel was top of the line!! Give everything an excellent rating and highly highly recommend!!!

Great room and facility

I like the property. Lots of nice touches and very up to date rooms. But the view from our room wasn’t great. I have not yet eaten but the restaurant looks good.

Enjoyed the stay

The staff were very accommodating and kind. Even the owner of the restaurant, Tony greeted each table tat the restaurant personally! However, the hotel is not worth the hefty price tag of minimal $500 a night. Breakfast is beyond Mediocre - with no hot options for food, and not comfortable lounging in the lobby.
