Staff is super friendly and helpful. Standard hotel with a comfortable bed. Bagel breakfast bar with fruit, yogurt, cereal and coffee.

The staff was nice, the hotel was clean. The continental breakfast was good. Had a nice assortment. They were testing the fire alarm system when we were there. No one gave us notice about it. And then they were flushing the water system which turned our water black. Again they did not give us any notice. There should have been a message on our phone or a notice posted on the doors that they would be doing it that day.

One elevator not conveniently located. no drawers in room. reno in progress, unmarked painted rails at breakfast (wife not happy). both of us in our 70s, stairs difficult.. completed work looks very good. staff very friendly.

Very spacious room with comfortable bed. Great value for the price and breakfast was good.

Enjoyed stay with family. Breakfast was a hit with kids - Fruit Loops on the menu 😁. Had a busy schedule and didn’t get a chance to enjoy all amenities, but overall had a great time.

Staff at hotel Rude. Rooms are old but have a coat of paint to try to make them look updated. Would never stay here again. Over priced . Could hear people above us walking around was so loud would wake us up at night. Huge disappointment. Room smelled of smoke from previous guest. Motel was unable to get the smoke smell out when they cleaned the room.

It was an okay refurbished property with Hilton amenities.

Just looking for a last minute safe clean affordable place . It was affordable but a little ways from downtown so you would need to drive to see the sites.

My cousin and I went on a weekend trip to the area, and chose this hotel online. Our main goal is safety and cleanliness and this place did offer that. It is a refurbished older hotel. The room was very nice and it is near all the activity in Mystic. The pool only opened at 10am so we never got to see it due to our schedule. Breakfast area was very clean, helpful staff, and decent options for a bite to eat (self-serve). If traveling with kids I would recommend it.

The hotel needs a renovation in the hallways. The beds were comfortable. There room was not cleaned up.

We had the best and most professional front desk clerk (Lisa) check us in. She was very knowledgeable and told us things before we even had to ask.

I believe the sheets were clean but the second blanket had what looked like lipstick on it. Definitely not mine. The metal doors are extremely loud. My room was right by the stairwell so it was ready loud.

Great place very clean! Only thing I would like is a microwave in room and maybe a better breakfast then bagel bar but all around not a bad experience

The hotel is very nice. Their complimentary breakfast has coffee, tea, juice, bagels, oatmeal and cereal available. The staff is excellent. I would absolutely stay here again. My only complaint is that we could hear the people above us walking around their room. We were unlucky in the fact that they were walking around until about 1AM and dropping things on the floor. The issue was more with an inconsiderate guest versus the hotel but I would recommend requesting the top floor.

The room was clean and fine for the price point. The people above me were stompers and pacing for a few hours.

The staff was very nice and accommodating. When we got there at 5:00 our rooms were not cleaned and ready but check in was supposed to be at 4:00. The breakfast didn’t have and hot options like pancakes, eggs etc. It was mostly cereal bagels, oat meal, plain Greek yogurt. There were apples and oranges but they didn’t look very appealing. For a Hilton I was expecting a little bit better all around.

This hotel was ok for our purposes, but if I stayed here again I would request a second floor room because you hear every single step the person above you takes.

While I realize the rates are higher in peak season, this hotel is nowhere close to being > $300 per night even over Labor Day weekend. It is also not in the quaint part of Mystic.

okay for overnight or very short term stay. rooms small and sink in main part of room. easy access on and off highway, but no highway noise. limited breakfast, but diner nearby. front desk staff friendly and courteous.

The hallway in the hotel looks very depressing.

I spent the week at the Spark and enjoyed my stay. I was leery due to some of the reviews, but I realize these review are subjective. I thought the facility, my room and surrounding area was very clean. I enjoyed the bagel bar & the coffee was actually really good (I'm a coffee person). The staff was professional and friendly. I found it convenient for my travels to other areas too. I have no complaints and this will be my go to when in the area.

Hotel is dated. Needs upgrade

Our stay at this Spark was super. It was clean and comfortable. The morning complimentary breakfast had a lot of choices, was fresh and well tended to, there was a large seating clean bright and cheerful seating area sectioned off from the rest of the hotel. You could go there any time of day to eat your own food if brought in from the outside, check in and out was super fast. I would absolutely come back here.

Excellent hotel . Great pool , great location and very good basic breakfast

The location of the hotel is very convenient. Very friendly staff. Pool is a great addition for kids to enjoy their stay. rooms were clean , but a little small compared to other hotels we stayed. Dogs are welcome which was important for us. Overall it was a nice experience.

The hotel was ok, Expedia was my problem here. I very rarely leave a bad review for any establishment as I understand some things can’t be helped. With that being said, the Expedia customer service over the phone was absolutely terrible. I purchased a room, and the cancellation protection. When I arrived it wasn’t the room I was promised with a smaller bed than what I paid for. After asking to be moved to the room I paid for they let me know the hotel was sold out. Not there fault, but once I asked to be refunded so I could find another hotel Expedia tried to charge me substantial fee to cancel it even thought they admitted to the mistake and the miscommunication on there page. I had to talk to 3 people from Expedia and each time they were extremely rude and hung up on me. The issue was unresolved and I was forced to pay for the room as the last person I talked with refused to send me to a manger repeatedly. When I finally talked to the manger he said it was impossible to remove the cancelation fee even though the room was misrepresented on the website.
