very nice hotel, reasonable price, a double bed with 2 small single beds for my children. staff is nice. walk-in breakfast is too expensive

While breakfast was spot on, dinner was over-priced and one of the entrees was of poor quality. The room layout was ridiculously awkward.

The area right at the property is the edge of the city and isn’t quite walkable however can be done with like 20-30 minute walk you’ll arrive in a beautiful old village with lots of shopping sightseeing and food and this is an easy drive to Omaha beach and even Utah beach
We enjoyed our stay there and the Hôtel restaurant was good too

A really good hotel and typical of the Novotel brand. The facilities and the staff were first class. The staff were more than willing to help and their use of English was excellent.
The bedroom was clean and comfortable. The bar and restaurant facilities were well managed. Our only regret is that we did not take our swimming gear, so we missed out on using the outdoor heated pool!

Overnight stay on road trip around normandy. Very small room with 1 double and 2 single beds. Was an ok stay but not the best hotel on our trip especially considering this was the most expensive.

Lovely hotel so much better than Novotel in the UK. Truly upmarket. Clean, comfortable, super facilities in cluding a restaurant and pool. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Easy parking and convenient location. Will definitely stay again

The room is small but functional. Shower is strong, breakfast is good. Reception is helpful, hotel is 5 min from metro station, reasonably convenient.

Very disappointing. Matresses cheap and uncomfortable. No hooks or rails to hang wet towels. Room not hoovered every day. Mold under the window. Some staff very helpful but some very rude. At best this is a 3star hotel. Would not recommend.

Property is in a great location for those wanting to travel onwards. It is a short walk away from Bayuex town with a free car park. However the room it self did not appear to have been cleaned properly. There was alot of hair on surfaces and on the bathroom and toilet floors and clothing which must have been left by a previous person. The air-conditioning in the room did go not below 20 degrees C.
The gym consists of 3 aerobic pieces of equipment with a selection of weights.
The buffet breakfast had lots of choice. But due to the lack of cleaniness we would not stay there again.

The staff were excellent, very pleasant and extremely helpful. Most of them spoke English very well. Close proximity to downtown Bayeux, would highly recommend.

Great location if you are driving. Parking in town is a real pain. This property is outside of the main city and has a nice secure parking lot. A lot of tours use this hotel. This hotel is newer and more modern than most hotels in town.

Bathroom commode area extremely small; bathroom tub difficult to get into; shower difficult to turn on; breakfast was excellent; dinner was good; front desk & bar service was spotty, had to wait long time to get service, front desk under staffed.

Stayed for one night en route back to Cherbourg. The hotel is modern and clean. Nice communal areas. Very good breakfast. Great location a short level walk into the city and close to out of town shops including a huge L’Eclerc. Weather wasn’t good enough for us to use pool (it was open, but we didn’t fancy it!), but it looked nice.
Room itself was very simple and soulless. Served a purpose but a bit of a shame given rest of hotel is nice. A bit overpriced for what it was.

Overnight stay. For a four star hotel to be providing paper cups in the room is being cheap. It has nothing to do with saving the environment it's just to save money. Novotel as a group seem to have reduced the size of their rooms. To use the toilet you needed to be a contortionist. Any big person would have had problems. The bathroom was small but did have the facilities required

Novatel is in a great location for walking to the old town. (Driving in old town is a pain!) The hotel is fine. Looking a bit worn in a few places. The carpet outside our toilet was damp, otherwise the room was spacious for France. Not enough outlets but we made do. Not sure why ice was limited from the empty bar but again we made do.
Overall, a good hotel in a great location for walking.
