The stay was amazing! And such great service! Will be coming back again

We really enjoyed our stay. Hotel was booked solid, and elevators were running slow, so hotel personnel made sure to escort guests to the service elevator to help speed up wait time. Room was comfortable, clean, and very nice. The only issue was the attitude of the hostess of the St Paul Grill. We asked if they had room for us and she gave us a very rude “noooo” twice while shaking her head and giving us an incredulous look. No need to be disrespectful. We did end up finding a spot at the bar to eat and the service was very good despite being busy. Everyone else was super personable and we were treated very nice. Thats one area they definitely excel in. How they treat you is something special.

I stayed in the Ambassador Suite, which was lovely. Historic, huge suite with bar, and giant, comfy 4 poster bed.

Great location in an historical building. Overall 4/5 stars, one star off for the very very poor drainage in our tub. Staff was very nice and we enjoyed the other amenities in the room.

St. Paul Hotel never disappoints from arrival to departure on class, food, beverage and a great staff!

They had. Keurig in the room but they charged for water. It would have been nice if they had a filtered water station at some point.

This hotel always meets and exceeds expectations. From valet parking to the front desk to restaurants, all service is wonderful.

Classic design, but plain room appointments. Staff quality varied. Misinformation regarding dining and dining ambience and service was poor. Too expensive for quality delivered.

One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed at in the twin cities. Staff was incredible. Valet was amazing even gave me a ride to a gas station in the morning! I can’t wait to stay here again!

Staff were excellent and the Grille Ribeye is to die for melting in our mouths! The best steak we’ve ever had thus far in Minnesota! My 7 yo girl loves their Ribeye! We ended up staying for the night when we are locals. lol

The property was charming and had lots of great small touches. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bedding felt luxurious.

I cancelled my stay the day before, and the hotel still charged me a big chunk of change. I got bounced between Expedia and the hotel, and no one actually cancelled the reservation. I am very very unhappy.

The St Paul hotel was easy to get to from the airport, convenient and a well maintained hotel with a lot of charm.

Very cool hotel, old school vinyage charm with high end luxory feel. Great bar and food in the lobby, and walkable to Xcel Center and other places downtown St Paul.

Area around property seems unsafe because there are so many homeless and everything is inder construction...seems like a warzone...

Very clean and nicely kept older hotel. The service is first rate, but the set up for valet parking is very time consuming. Just be sure to take that into account when planning outings. Otherwise, great food, and kind, friendly staff are highlights.

We had a concert at the XCEL Energy Center - this hotel was a perfect location with the venue in walking distance! Very easy parking (valet!) and all of the staff were amazing. Also a very cool historic building!

We stayed two nights for a wedding and room was comfortable and clean. Not entirely up to date but that is its charm, not a cookie cutter hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful- in particular the young man in the lobby coffee shop with his helpful advice on the area. The housekeeping staff was great as well.

Historical and beautiful.. I wish parking was easier and valet was a little spendy.
