The Vendome is a historic boutique hotel. Which is the reason it was given four stars overall.
Rooms are clean, beds comfortable, it’s rustic, and currently cannot support individual fridges, coffee makers etc in the rooms. They are planning a big renovation and will be closed so make sure you check their web site

My boyfriend and I have stayed all over Prescott, including at Hotel St. Michael and the Hassayampa - and Hotel Vendome is our new absolute favorite! It’s 1/2 away from Whiskey Row, bigger rooms and bathrooms than the other two, and very comfortable. The staff is friendly, and it’s in a much quieter neighborhood - that 1/2 block makes a big and very welcome difference. Will definitely stay again!

I stayed here with my husband for 4 nights in August, and we had a great experience. The building is gorgeous, and within walking distance of the shops and restaurants of Whiskey Row. The decor is fitting to the historic nature of the property, but not overdone. I especially loved the deep blue walls of the main hallway contrasted with the wooden trim and doors. Our room was a little worn in places but very clean and very convenient. It had air conditioning as well as ceiling fans for keeping cool. The king bed was very comfortable and I slept well each night. The hotel has a shared guest pantry with coffee, tea, hot and cold water, and ice, as well as a fridge and microwave for guests to use. In the mornings, there’s brewed coffee and tea in the lobby, so I didn’t need to make my own while half asleep. I enjoyed padding out into the hallway early in the morning, with the smell of coffee and the sunshine streaming into the lobby, to get a cup and bring it back to my room. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would absolutely stay again.

Old hotel vibe is as marketed. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Restaurant next door is great and easy walking to downtown square. Would love some sort of continental breakfast option.

It was the.perfect place to stay. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet. The staff that greeted us was friendly. We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the world go by.

This was our first time staying here and we loved it. It’s in a great location and we really enjoyed being so close to all the activities in the square. It was a little pricey for not having the amenities of a chain hotel, but we would stay here again.

Lovely hotel, going back in time to the 1880s. Very atmospheric, evocative of history. Not exactly a luxury boutique kind of experience but plain and functional.

This hotel has charm for sure! If you enjoy unique hotels and history, then you'll probably appreciate this hotel. Easy walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and town square. Staff was welcoming and kind!
However, my husband and I ended up very uncomfortable all night and didnt get much sleep. There are a few things that i think can realistically be improved upon , even with the limitations thag an old building poses. The ac is positioned maybe about 6 inches from the side of the bed. The person sleeping there would get blasted with cold air in the face. The ac units are window mounted...either the ac should be moved or the bed.
In the middle of the night I woke up sweating head to toe because the ac stopped blowing cold air. It seems it froze over.
The bed sheets were SO scratchy and didnt breathe well! Ugh! The bed was decent...not the worst mattress I've slept on.
I wanted to love this place because it really is very cute...but I wont return due to how uncomfortable we were.

A very quaint old style hotel. No key cards, a physical key, and a historic building with a historic feel. A great unique and quite place to stay. Very close to lost of restaurants (one right next door) and walkable to Whisky Row.

It’s always a pleasure to stay here and is one of my favorite places to stay when I’m in Prescott. The staff is super friendly and are awesome people. The rooms are cozy and very comfortable. The beds are soft and help with sleep. It’s location to all the neat shops and restaurants make it a great place to base camp for a long stay. Highly recommend Hotel Vendrome.

A wonderful historical hotel! The rooms were very clean, the bathrooms have been remodeled and are very modern. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again when I return.

Very neat historic little hotel. The rooms are quite small, but were cutely decorated and felt well maintained for how old the building is. The employees were wonderful and they ensured I had access to overnight check in even though the front desk is not attended overnight. The area is lovely, quiet and very walkable. Only minor drawbacks were the rooms didn't feel as sound proof as you'd get in new concrete hotels (to be expected) and the bed was VERY firm.

Great experience, very nice hotel & staff! Would recommend staying in a room on the left side of the property as it is much quieter at night being close to downtown. Overall a very charming historic hotel 👍

The lady at the check in desk (Saina is her name), such a crazy GREAT and friendly person!!! Not typical for these days.....She was so great, gave us a ton of info about town, and she was constantly asking what the hotel could do to make our stay great

This was the first time that I have stayed at this hotel, and I was not disappointed. It was like a little stroll back in time and was so quaint! But all of the amenities were updated and the hotel really exceeded our expectations. From the gentleman who helped us at the front desk when we checked in to the nice young lady who set up the coffee service in the morning. Everything was wonderful and we will definitely be back if only to stay at the hotel for a relaxing weekend.
