No hot water in the shower

This hotel is super clean, the breakfast is great, and the staff is wonderful especially Karla. She is truly an amazing person who goes above and beyond to make sure all the guests have a great experience during their stay. The property itself is beautiful and it comes with a gym and swimming pool which shocked me because the price is the most affordable in the area. It also comes with a huge lobby with plenty seating so you can relax, have a meeting, or enjoy freshly prepared coffee. If you’re in Fort Lauderdale and looking for a great experience without breaking your pockets staying at the la Quinta in plantation is the right choice to make.

Rooms smelled moldy, we had two double beds. One of them wasn’t even usable as the mattress had ridiculously large and dent in the mattress. As a receipt when checking out several times still have yet to receive it by email..

First of all, I was greeted rudely at my arrival by the Receptionist, Christian. I did not get the room that I paid extra for. There was no soap or towels in the room. The room was filthy and dirty. We saw roaches running around due to a lack of cleaning. We are very disappointed.

Okay, but need updating. Mold on the bathroom ceiling and bed spread has burn marks. The room I was put in was warm and the air couldn't be adjusted. I told the front desk about my complaint and they said they would check into switching me into another room but they never got back to me. I said it's only a few days stay so I let it be.

Elevator was broken for first 2 days and I was on the 4th floor. Also no hot water for 3 days. Toilet in Room 411 runs every few minutes so needs a repair. Over weekend, very noisy and last night (Tuesday night) loud people in parking lot until 3am. On the positive side, very clean and friendly staff.

This place could use kicking up it's cleanliness. Shower curtain was wet and not extended upon arrival. Once open it had black dots on the white curtain. They only put one bath towel for a party of 2. Not the places fault but people were walking and talking all night non stop until the morning in the hallways. King side bed was uncomfortable as it had been slept on continuously in the same spots. Mattresses should be flipped regular ly.

Door barely locked, air conditioning barely worked and was loud, shower sounded like pipes were gonna burst and only one bath towel and had to wait an hour for more

Got to the hotel around 8:30 pm, & given room 303. Room was hot when my daughter & I went in so turned air on but even @ 1:30 am it was still stifling and air conditioner was what it seemed on ceiling with what looked like chicken coop wire over it which it was ungodly loud. Went down to front desk and asked to be moved. The night attendant seemed irritated he had to move and do something but moved my room to 322, went up and grabbed stuff from the room to move and when we opened it up it was dirty and a total mess & obviously has not been cleaned. When I went down again the guy now seemed mad at me for coming back to front desk. He said well I have to move you now to a suite, I said I just want a room with air that works. Put me in room 326 now. The floor where the air was running next to the window we are guessing was leaking or some was & it smelled in the room. Daughter and I said let’s suck it up for the night because we were exhausted from moving her stuff into her dorm for college. Next morning we were up early and back at the college around 7:30 am, we did not get back to hotel until around 8 pm that night. When we opened up the door the smell was worse and water now all the way past king size bed and rug was totally drenched. Went back to front desk and complained and moved back into another small room. Air worked so one night was decent. Breakfast looked decent also but we were on the go so usually took a banana & a yogurt. Each room was not clean by any means also

Old in need of renovation and deep cleaning

Room was supposed to be cleaned after 3 days. The bed was made up and that was it. Floor not vacuumed and new towels werent given.

Great helpful staff, Patrick on the front desk is a wonderful, very professional and always with a great attitude. Ladies handling the breakfast area where wonderful.

Waiting my turn in line to check-in, associate took care of someone who can from other side before me. Elevator dirty with trash on floor. Bathroom floor was sticky and dirty. No conditioner in shower, empty bottle. No ice available after 2 attempts, and front desk advised I could walk over to the Hampton Inn to get some. Lobby trash overflowing.

Like the breakfast

I like the war welcome we got and the quick service and we were able to get a hot drink right away as we had had a long trip behind us.

Fine for a one night stay. Anything more, you’re pushing it.

Unfortunately the service was good, but the hotel itself had roaches, and there was no room service at all. I would not stay there again.

No towels. Bed was dirty. A pillow was laid on and one missing out of the four. Crumbs on the table. The room was as if someone checked in grabbed what yhey wanted and checked out. I wasnt moved to another room

The rooms are not properly cleaned, dust in most areas even after requested cleaning. Beds need to be changed, feels worn and give back ache. Other guests store a ton load of garbage next to door ftom sh Christian and Karla who works at reception area was found to be helpful and tried to make efforts for the stay to be enjoyable, very pleasant also.

Good location. But condition of rooms was not great. They didn’t clear my garbage overnight and I then had cockroaches in the room. Shower was not working lroproely the toilet tissue holder was broken. Not worth it.

Dirty hallways and weird people walking around and staying

The hotel is in a great location. Close to the mall and other retail stores. Quiet area.

The hotel and its staff are great. The breakfast option can be changed but otherwise I really enjoyed my stay in the Plantation area.

The staff the servers I got From the staff, the police was very quiet clean and my family was very happy with it
