My family and I had a great stay at Hotel Capstone. We were in town for UA middle school honors band and it was within walking distance to the moody music building. Perfect for our two night stay. Staff was very friendly and the beds were super comfortable.

I stayed here while attending a conference next door at the Bryant Conference Center. The staff was exceptional, especially in the restaurant. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet each day of my stay.
The room was clean overall, but some cleanliness issues were found in the bathroom. The ceiling vent above the sink was very dusty. Black mold was observed in the shower caulk. The shower had a solid panel of glass, but leaked onto the floor after showering.
The rest of the room was clean, but showed some age on the corners of furniture and walls.

Traveled to Tuscaloosa for a basketball game. Obviously the location is amazing a just a short walk to Coleman Coliseum. The hotel was super nice. The staff was super friendly. Highly recommend!!!!

Check in was rough as three girls were standing behind the counter talking to each other and they saw me. I stood there for atleast 10 minutes maybe longer after they saw me before being acknowledged. Once checked in everything was great. As a whole I like this place. Safe, well lit, and comfortable

It was okay. The HVAC needs to be replaced, the fan runs constantly and it's hard to maintain a comfortable temperature in the room. The layout of the bathroom is horrible, if the door was hinged on the opposite side it would have been better. The support bar on the tub was in the worst location possible, behind you if you were taking a bath (see photo), the better location would have been the inside wall. The room would be better with a single queen or king bed for its size. Another floor lamp would be helpful also.

Clean and everyone I interacted with was super nice! The restaurant could use some work. The steak was too expensive for what I got and wasn’t cooked right. We went back to the restaurant for the breakfast buffet and it had everything you’d expect. Can’t speak highly enough about how nice the room was and how great the staff was.

We stayed here to be near the campus. We didn’t rate it higher because the power went out at night and we also didn’t receive cleaning services during our stay. Otherwise, it’s a great location for parents to visit the campus and it’s a nice setting.

Could not have asked for a better location! We were on campus to assist with move in but the convenient parking allowed us to enjoy downtown Tuscaloosa and Northport at our convenience. The staff and rooms were wonderful!

I thought the property was nice, but the actual rooms were dated & disappointing; & in all fairness, they may be in the midst of a renovation, which it definitely needed. The rooms had a late 80’s Holiday Inn kinda feel.

The location is incredible if you are there for the University of Alabama. However, the room was so old and it was gross. It just felt dirty. There were spiders in the shower. They need to refurbish this hotel because the location cannot be beat.

It was right on college property. Making everything walking accessible. The property was very well maintained and had amazing staff.

This university has millions of dollars and this hotel needs an upgrade. Pool was not working, beds were awful, bathroom is tiny.

Brenda, at the front desk, was amazing. We could not have been treated better. Our flight was running very late and the hotel gave us a late check out. If my neice chooses Alabama for College this will be our go to hotel. Great breakfast buffet and super clean.

Front desk staff was very rude which is the opposite of what I typically experience. They gave one word answers and never smiled. I left after two days and stayed at another hotel. Halls were noisy all hours of morning and night. Very disappointed.
