Small rooms and twin beds- not spacious! Old facility, convenient to the airport.

firts and last included breakfasts where ok, but giant amount of trash is generated by this hotel as nothing is reusable. second breakfast (on the Sunday AM) was a catastrophe as they closed everything 1hr before the announced hour, leaving a lot of customer with 10% of the usual choices. fortunatelly the day after the manager made sure that the breakfast was served as per shcedule.

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. Mold in the bathtub, closet doors barely hanging on. Blood spots on the comforter. Heavy front in freezer that my husband defrosted and found and freezer pack and snickers bar. No food accept toast or bagels for breakfast. No milk, no waffle mix, overflowing trash cans. My daughter had to wait 7 hours to finally get into her room at 9 o’clock last night, then found mold in her room also. AND I PAID $348 for this room. $250 for our room and $318 for on for my son and his kids. They have absolutely NO BUSINESS charging this amount of money this mess!! I understand that it is old but their prices need to reflect the quality of the rooms. We used to stay here every time we came to Maine to visit family but never will again. It’s horrible! We had asked for fresh towels and new comforter one day and came back later in that evening and nothing was done!!! I should be reimbursed for half of what we paid or more. The pool had no towels and the hot tub was cold and dirty. So sad, it used to be such a wonderful hotel.

This property was not up to Hampton Inn standards . Very dirty and understaffed. My fault for booking thru Expedia !! Lot of Money !! We had not had a real vacation since before Covid . My husband and I are semi retired and work hard . Learned a valuable lesson . We would have not stayed except it was difficult to get a quick refund on our credit card.

It was an average hotel stay. Only there for one night.

I was very disappointed in my stay at this property. I had booked for two nights and left after the first due to the lack of cleanliness such as hair throughout the shower, juice hardened in the fridge, dirty walls that had streaks and dust, a broken closet door that was half open when we checked in, as well as a heavy odor of cigarettes throughout the room. There was molding broken off the floor board and garbage sitting in the hallway that was there from when we checked in on Friday afternoon until we left a day early on Saturday. Housekeeping attempted to enter my room after a very gentle tap and no announcement of who it was. I was by myself in the hotel room at that point and was very alarmed to hear and see someone thrash into my room. We attempted to discuss these issues with the general manager or a front office staff, however could not find anyone on the four attempts we made down to the main floor. This hotel was not acceptable and I will be pursuing contact with the hotel directly as pictures were taken to document the issues.

When we arrived the door lock was broken so the staff had to let us in. The door to the bathroom in the main lobby area didn’t close. There was no breakfast, except rotten milk, cereal, and stale bagels. The staff were both unfriendly and unhelpful.

beddings not clean, the breakfast is supposed to be included when booking. however, no breakfast and no any refund for that. i was told that breakfast is complimentary so no refund even Hampton Inn does not provide breakfast. so Hapmton Inn can cancel breakfast as they like. terible services! no more Hampton Inn

Adequate hotel for one night. Safe, quiet and very clean.

Everything was great but the beds did not have mattress covers on them and the comforter was stained like crazy. They did give us new blankets when asked though.

They had a pool and hot tub which is why I went and they were closed and we were not told at check in or before the stay.

I paid for our hotel ahead of time, but when we got there we were charged for an upgrade. That was disappointing, as the hotel was ridiculous high because of the holiday. The A/C in our room sounded like a rotary phone when it is left off the hook. But hotel was full, so we just dealt with it.

This property was very unsanitary and poorly maintained. Very stained carpeting and bedding. Mold forming on the ceiling, furniture in disrepair. Horrendous odor throughout the hotel.

When we arrived the firefighters were there talking to the front desk ans manager. We stood there and no one acknowledged us, but a person in front of us was also showing the manager issues in his room. The front desk host barely noticed us and said maybe 2 words the whole time. We get to our room and the hall is mostly dark. We make it to our room and we had to walk over damp squishy carpet and broken ceiling tiles because water came down from flooding above. The manager saw us walking down there and they still put us in a room next to flood damage. Our toilet leaked from the bottom as well, and the room was gross. I was mad but needed a place to sleep!

The hotel does not look like is owned by Hilton. The hotel furniture, the mattresses and the general condition of the hotel is in very bad shape. Our Bath tub was clogged and flooded. The personnel refused to make our room. The personnel did not have uniform nor were identified with names tags.

Computers down system wide, when they did come up still not functioning well. Overall condition is not usual Hampton Inn quality.

The front of the building had garbage in the entrance when we arrived & the bed sheets were stained , bathroom floor was not clean!!

As far as a dog friendly hotel goes, it was overall decent and a convenient place to stay with our dog. However, the hotel is dated/warn down and can definitely use some upgrades. There also could have been better upkeep with the rooms. We found a toe nail on the couch and used lysol wipes behind the night stands. It was really gross. Additionally, there was no hand soap for the rooms because the hotel was temporarily out of stock. That's kind of concerning because it made us think the hotel staff and hotel guests were not properly washing their hands. We avoided the breakfast area due to this.

The room we stayed in was not in good condition. The bathroom specifically had mold spots and the tile was broken off on the floor. When we stayed earlier, our trip, our room was much better. The room also had a real musty/moldy smell to it. When we arrived, I could smell cookies, baking, but we never did see any put out for their guests.

Breakfast choices were good. No cookies upon arrival. We have stayed at Hamptons several times and cookies and fruit have always been available for guests. The room was clean. Beds were not as comfortable as some we have slept in before. Good location near the airport and not too far from South Portland.

Positive: breakfast 5 stars, staff friendly. Negative: carpet mats stink, I ask for another room because I couldn’t take the smell, and the other room had the bad smell too. I stated 2 days, and they didn’t clean, I have to go ask for towels, soap and paper toilet…

Older property but quiet and centrally located. Professional staff, continental breakfast in the morning. Place does the trick at this price point.
