They could not find the booking. They said they had to have a confirmation number not an itinerary number and we had to make other arrangements

Hotel was currently under construction/renovation however, continued to book rooms on floors with no carpet in hallways and construction debris and noise.

The breakfast was outstanding. Our room was big and nice. When we first got there, the room was hot and the thermostat was stuck on, also there was no screen on the window and we were close to the ground, so if we opened the window someone could come in the window if they wanted. We told the front desk, so we went out and came back, and our door was left open, they did put a screen on the window, but now the heat didn't work at all, and it was pretty cold out (probably 30's or 40's at night). Luckily there was a plug-in heater in the closet which we used. We told the front desk and they basically ignored us. So the next people in that room would have to deal with the same thing.

Hotel room smelled of fry oil...like kitchen vent was going in rooms. Check-in person was not particularly helpful. Man at desk at night was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the restaurant.

We enjoyed the breakfast, lots of options. Coffee was delicious! they were replacing some of the rugs so a bit noisy at times. It was in a very walkable part of the island!

Convenient location and airport shuttle. Walkable to the town area. We were given an accessible room but didn’t request one. The carpet outside the bathroom was soaking wet upon arrival and throughout our stay. It would have been nice if sack breakfasts were available for people using the 5:10am airport shuttle.

The hotel is in great location and one of the convenient places on the island. It’s a noisy place since they have a restaurant there and room’s walls are thin. You can hear people in the rooms above and next to you.

I stayed in a handicapped room although not handicapped - room 121. It’s a bigger room that is actually better than a standard room so request if available. Less than 10 minutes to Kodiak airport

It was advertised as two beds and a sofa bed in the room. So we had three of us for three beds but once we arrived at the hotel they didn’t want three people to a room. That’s false advertising and we just got done with a 6 hour drive and it’s 12 am. So Instead I am currently outside your hotel having to sleep in my truck and it’s even the hotel I paid for. But I feel bad and embarrassed since I told everyone they would have a bed tonight because I reserved the bigger three bed capable room. Anyways thanks for nothing best western and the three of us will not be attending your hotel stay or recommending it anytime in the near future.
