Staff so helpful. Had an early flight to catch and they made a box breakfast to take. Hotel near Acropolis and Plaka so lots to do.

The hotel has a private rooftop with seating and a great view of the Acropolis and Parthenon, variety of choices for breakfast. The staff even made is breakfast box to go if we have to go before 7 am for sightseeing or for our departure.

I am so happy with this excellent hotel. Thanks to Elias, Efi, Spiros, Monda and all the staff, they were wonderful. My luggage got lost from our fly and the hotel collected them after we left for a cruise. When we came back they have it for us to pick it up before we go to Rome. We highly recommen this hotel

We got to our room and it was cool. The other hotels we stayed at in Greece the rooms have been warm and AC units not big enough for the room. The room was spacious.

The Phillipos Hotel was in a great location, We had an excellent view of the Acropolis from our balcony.

Hotel location is amazing! Close to tourist attraction and good hotels. Area is quite too. Breakfast food options are ok for a buffet. Room was ok but you can hear your neighbours a little when they are talking loudly. Bathroom tub with showhead was a little awakward to use since the tub is narrow and the shower valve on the side tub with the showerhead at the end of the tub. So i kept knocking my legs agains the valves. Hair dryer, attached to the bathroom wall beside the sink, is like a reverse vaccum tude blowing warm air. People with very long thick hair may have issues with it as the end of the tube where you hold, get very warm after 10min usage. Additionally, i was very dissappointed that even though i paid for all the city taxes when during the check in (received no receipt), it was not entered in the hotel system and was asked to pay again during the check out which was with a different staff than the check in. Thankfully, the staff member did not force me to pay again after i insisted several times that i had already paid. While the amount is not high, it is the principal of the matter that annoys me. Next time, i'll be asking for the receipt or pay at the check out only.

Convenient hotel with spectacular Acropolis views. 7th floor room has private balcony with stunning views. Small bathroom with tiny showers but I am not but guy so it's ok. If you are a large person, it can get a little tight. They packed breakfast as we checked out before breakfast opened which was very nice. Nice wine and bottled waters were stacked in the fridge for us to enjoy. I would stay here again.

We were upgraded to an apartment in a sister hotel. Staff were excellent. Food very good. Location almost perfect for the Acropolis and the museums.

The room is very tiny but is very clean and the bed is comfortable. The staff are helpful and friendly and you can nearly reach out your window and touch the acropolis museum. It is also close to metro and within easy walking distance of all the restaurant's, shops and markets. There is a small rooftop patio with a great view of the acropolis and they have a wonderful breakfast.

Exellent hotel, room a bit small, no safe, no hot water kettle. Nice balcony. Safe area, 15 min walk to Athena center, 5 min walk to Acropolis. Plenty of restaurants, cafe's, Everything within walking distance. The included breakfast is good. Professional staff.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Philippos Hotel during my visit to Athens, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations. The location of the hotel is simply unbeatable, with its close proximity to both the Acropolis Museum and the Acropolis itself. Being centrally located meant that I was within walking distance of everything that Athens had to offer, making exploring the city incredibly convenient. One of the highlights of my stay was the daily Greek breakfast served at the hotel. It was a delightful departure from the usual breakfast fare, and I truly enjoyed experiencing the authentic flavors of Greece each morning. Additionally, I cannot say enough about the staff at Philippos Hotel. From the moment I arrived, they were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Their friendly demeanor made me feel right at home, and they were always available to assist with any inquiries or requests. Overall, my experience at Philippos Hotel was nothing short of fantastic.
