Well Room one a dog had gone to the bathroom in. Room 2 had mold in the bathroom Room 3 no electricity than a person attacked my daughter a police where called. Staff said it didn’t happen but the security cameras showed it did.

Not so good. The room smelled. The faucet leaked. The TV remote was missing; and when I tried to call the front dest, no one answered for at least an hour. When I finally got someone to answer, they stated that they were sorry and would try to give us a discount. But, that never happened. Lot of dog lovers stay here.

Our stay was very comfortable. We enjoy the easy access to the freeway and the location is very close to the shopping center we use. It would be nice if when requesting a downstairs room due to health issues that the request would be met. I do appreciate you having selected me your “Guest of the Day”. Thank you all look forward to our next visit.

If you’re a crackhead or homeless, this is the hotel for you. This is not a family hotel. I exited the elevator with my family to be greeted with a homeless crackhead on the floor, eating hot Cheetos with orange juice. I was so appalled! Once we got to our room, it was filthy. There were no toilet paper in the room no body wash. My husband did point out. There was a cute teeny tiny bar of soap. That’s probably the only good thing about this hotel. Understaff for a Friday evening I had to walk down to the main lobby to grab the toilet paper. Again, passing this homeless crackhead that made me feel very uncomfortable. I went to get ice and this crackhead was pacing the hall like I was taking her ice. I will never ever stay at La Quinta again. I’d rather spend more money and get what I’m paying for. I hope you read this before you book your stay if not, sorry I tried to warn you.

Needs updating

First room - TV didn’t work. No available staff to fix the TV so they moved me to the next room over. TV in that room worked but I had to move the bed to turn on the power strip for the lights/plug-ins to work. Right as I was falling asleep, the smoke alarm started beeping. A good place to stay the night but no more.

The staff were helpful. The room was clean but outdated. Carpet is old and kind of dirty. We wire sandals all the time. The bed was comfortable. AC was great. We stayed two nights and there were only 2 half rolls of toilet paper, we had to ask for more. There were no towels in the pool area. Breakfast was good. I was expecting only bagels and cereal but they had scramble eggs, potatoes, belgian waffles, besides the continental breakfast. Leo Carrillo Beach was 40 minutes away and Malibu 60. Griffith observatory 50 min. away. Gardens of the world is 20 min. Away. Check hours.

Room was run down. There was BLOOD stains on the sheets, like the bedding wasn’t even changed?! Hair on the floor of the bathroom. It was honestly disgusting and I will never book this La Quinta again. The worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

Perfect place to stay Great breakfast and easy check in.

It was nice and convenient but a bottom drawer didn’t close, worried of tripping over it and lamp switch did not work- had to turn light bulb to shut iff. Breakfast was not good- not the healthiest choice, biscuits and gravy not for me just had yogurt and cold cereal. Also need for more sitting area

Staff was nice and very helpful I give them top marks. However rooms smelled of cigarettes we asked to be changed which they did and very nice about it so again customer service excellent but very outdated. We found cockroaches in the room very small and outdated rooms. They don’t have daily room service you have to ask in advance for it as they do not have their own cleaning group. So that maybe why the rooms smelled and everything looks outdated. The breakfast was good had waffles fruit mini muffins oats and cereal. Pool is nice with their jacuzzi only thing is too much chlorine in the pool even with our googles we had to go to the store and purchase eye drops to help alíviate the sting and burning in our eyes. It is located near restaurants and stores so that was nice. Unfortunately due to this we will not be returning, which is a bummer because they have very nice staff but the place is just not enticing to return.

This hotel was perfect with the exception of the bed Hardest old mattress I've ever slept on! My back would hurt so much after 4 hours of sleep that I'd have to get up for the day! The area around the hotel (gardens and pool area) were beautiful!

This is the worst La Quinta Inn we have ever stayed in. It was dirty, the room was not clean, the group on the floor was disgusting. There was only one very small garbage can, the bathroom is so small that you have step to the side to close the door because the toilet sticks out past the door frame. The tub was dirty, the towel rack was rusty & the towels were so small you can’t wrap one around you (I am a small person so I can’t imagine a large person using these towels. We have stayed at a lot of La Quinta Inns over the years & this one you should be ashamed of. Have to come back to this area in another month but won’t be stay here. There was even a patch painted on the ceiling that was 2ft x 2ft & a totally different color. You could see the outside from under the door were insects & rodents could come in easily.

Staff was very nice. Had a little problem but staff got right on it and kept in contact with me to let me know that it was getting fixed. The problem was solved.

Was there with my kids for a baseball tournament! Great location, easy access to 101 and dining options. Pool was great. Service and breakfast was solid. Just a minor concern was the water in the tub took long to drain when taking shower, some outlets did not work.

Room door did not close and lock properly, door was not locked when we returned to room Second night of the stay as housekeeping Did not shut it hard enough, consequently, we had to change rooms. Check in took almost 2 hours, there was a glitch because we paid in full for the room before our stay, and then the amount of days were incorrect. Expedia allowed us to make the reservation for a month and when we arrived at the hotel that evening they told us they had a 21 day limit and from there the fiasco set in.

The room Needed a lot of updating . Shower was only 1/2 pressure . Drawers on bureau did not close all the way. Free breakfast ran out of food on July 4 ( granted a holiday but still)

There were flies inside, could not catch up sleep and also there was lots of noise like some one banging doors, screaming n all. It was a horrible experience and i’d never book this property again.

The staff alway have a smile on their faces and are so helpful! This trip, Sean was super busy but handled us all with a friendly and calm demeanor. Even though he was busy, he took the time to get me something when I couldn't find housekeeping. I really love staying here because I'm always confident that I will be treated well. Amazing staff!
