Accueil médiocre pour une chambre que j’ai payé 125 euros. Très décevant. Plus jamais !

Hôtel propre dans l’ensemble, service restauration et bar ferme à 23h si petit creux ou soif attendre le lendemain, un boucan pas possible toute la nuit et aucun agent de sécurité pour remettre le calme, bar dans la chambre vide, une seul petite bouteille d’eau comme boisson de bienvenue. J’ai fait deux fois cette hôtel et plus jamais.

Excellent accueil, literie confortable, petit-déjeuner complet, très bon séjour à Montpellier.

This was an excellent stay - all staff very welcoming and helpful - fantastic to have premier suite for family - we will certainly be staying again next year - this time for longer.So convenient - tram and the magnificent swimming pool - opposite. Recommend highly!

We were greeted by at least 3 very attentive staff members who spoke both English and Spanish which more helpful in my case. The recommendation for dinner was excellent and also local vinyards in and around the area. The room was a large size compared to other hotels I've rented in France and the bed was SUPER comfortable. They also offered paid, but convenient parking. Now for the not so good. The pictures show that the room was not carpeted, but it was. That was a big deal for me because of allergies. I rated it mediocre for cleanliness only because the smell in the hallway is overwhelming of chemicals masking something else. The room also had a musky smell and carpet. The breakfast contained expired food, such as the ham being inedible. The rest of the items like the croissants and breads were nice. Overall Mercure was fine for a one night stay.

We only stayed a short time. Room was comfortable, the breakfast was just right - there was a strange odor in the hallways, not sure if it was the cleaning product or something, but it didn't get into the rooms. It may have been temporary. Overall, a good place to stop in.

This is a business oriented hotel, but even so, it is right on the tram line into the city centre. Very convenient for getting around. Unfortunately the dining room was not open on the weekend so we cannot comment on the food. The Place d'Europe is close by and has some good restaurants. The room was very comfortable, the WiFi excellent, the staff very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent location for walking into centre or to the river where there were several bars and eateries. Hotel was easy to find with underground parking . Room clean and spacious. Stayed one night only and didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on the food. Young man on reception very friendly and helpful.

Nice experience, good comfort and breakfast. Must have gluten free food.

We use this hotel regularly for shopping and for stopovers to Spain. Often these result in 3 night stays in their wonderful suites. My dog enjoys the stay as well. Breakfast is good and service is second to none.

Hallways smell terribly. Carpets need replacement

When we arrived we were offered an upgraded room and free breakfast because we were over 60. The room was extremely comfortable and clean, the buffet breakfast was excellent and the staff could not have been more helpful and kind. The hotel does need refurbishing but it was extremely convenient for the tramway and the airport shuttle. We are not the type to sit by a hotel pool all day so found it very suitable for our needs. We ate out so can not comment on the restaurant.

Staff here go out of their way to assist in nearly everything you request. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Centrally located, near a tram stop, just 4 stops from the central train station, you can be in the heart of the old city within minutes or walk there in 20 minutes. I can't say enough about how nice the staff was at this hotel. First rate!

As I have said, the Staff made you feel important, they greeted you by your name; would go out on the street to point the way where you wanted to go. All in all, it was a good choice.

Centrally located, walkable to the main old city attraction.

Montpelier was an interesting city, obviously not a place the British go any more. One cafe owner said she could not remember the last time she heard English spoken. People would turn around and look at us when we spoke. Nothing is written in English and many shop and bar workers are less than helpful when you try to speak to them in French. Although some of the tourists were very helpful. There is a lot of graffiti and chewing gum everywhere which is a shame. August is probably the worse time to go here as everywhere was very busy and almost impossible to park, car parks were totally full and many cars were parked outside parking bays. Trams around the city are very handy and reasonably priced though. There are lots of restaurants for the evening meal, reasonably priced. The French take their time over evening meal so expect to wait.

Good transport access from the airport shuttle and the trams into the centre of town being almost outside the front door. Friendly staff too.

Standard room had a comfortable bed, small bath with shower well under 6ft high. Room is Ok, but decor rather worn, with chipped doors, toilet cistern runs sometimes and doesn't fill at others, nothing to see from hotel windows. Staff are helpful and pleasant.

Hotel is well located and easy to find in a confusing city to drive around. staff is friendly and pretty efficient. Breakfast Buffet is OK-ish. Not worth 16EU if its not included in your room rate The rest of food is very nasty. I had the special of the day for dinner, grilled sole, and it was a reheated insult to the species.

We enjoyed a sun soaked 3 nights in Montpellier at this hotel and it was easily worth the money. It is a good 4 star hotel, with fully functioning air conditioning, which is important. The mini bar fridge can be used to store your own stuff in their as we normally do, taking out the cans etc. and leaving them on a shelf :) The shower was in the bath, with a separate WC. Pencil, notepad, WiFi. Complimentary tea and coffee selection are all a standard 4 star hotel feature, but its good to say they replenish fully, daily. I haven't stayed in a better 4 star hotel for the money I paid, but I've stayed in better 4 star hotels.
