Hotel under construction. Lots of noise and hallways are a mess. Some rooms are updated but pictures are a stretch

I really enjoyed staying by La Quinta however on the third day I want to pay for my room with my chime card and the girl at the desk very rudely said to me we don't take that. I said why not and then how have I been able to pay the first 3 days with it and now I can't. So my friend paid for it and when I talked to the girls to desk later about this she said oh you're fine now we have his card on file. I said no no no don't ever use this card again he only did it for one day. I do not have a credit card I do not have any other accounts except for the one I had been using to pay for my room so I had to leave and I was very sad about that because I really liked being there I don't know understand how was I able to pay for my first three days with that card and that accounts and not the fourth day and had did you leave because I had no other options

There are renovations being done however we weren't informed prior to going there. We should have been informed and let us make the choice of whether we wanted to stay.
I had no TV service. Was charged full price for 2 days with all the inconvenience. I wanted to stay 3 extra days and the price they quoted was exorbitant. With all the inconvenience I think they should have done better as we have choices of where to stay.

This was a terrible experience. The hotel is in the middle of renovations-
I get that, but the place is a mess. The lobby is not accessible, the elevators are out of order, the pool doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned in a long time. I spilled water on the floor after taking a shower and went to wipe it up- my towel was a dark brown (normally white). It’s 9:45 am as I write this and outside my room, all I’m hearing is renovations, sanding, scrapping and down the hall you hear power tools. Things are boarded up, covered with plastic, the continental breakfast choices are abysmal. Owners, why didn’t you just shut it down for a few weeks??? And who the H did you get to come in and do the work?? The caulking is crap, the tile work? Also crap… it’s almost like you should have levelled the place and started over. I feel bad for the staff. I really do. They are trying to do their work… the front desk lady even hauled my VERY HEAVY luggage up a flight of stairs because the elevator is out of service. They did the best they could under the circumstances. Ultimately, I feel like I was completely taken advantage of. I feel that I was taken in by cheaper prices. Honestly, what should have done when I drove up and saw the plastic on the door was ask my Uber driver to take me to the Best Western. At least then I semi know what I’m getting into. Shame!! Shame on all of you.

they are remodeling, the hotel was far to be full, the lady gave us the most far room in front of elevator who wasnt working, so we had to work to other extremity of the building to use other elevator…this morning they made a lot of noise in front of our door,,, they should discount price by at least 50%…

the woman at reception was outside smoking when we arrived, she was kind of rude and gave us a room the farthest in level 4 on the. side elevator was not working? the hotel has many rooms available..

My friend and I stayed the night because we were leaving on a cruise the next day. I did not know they were doing work on the building so it was hard for the Uber drivers to navigate through the area. But all in all it was a pleasant stay and location was great for food options.

1. The hotel was undergoing remodeling, but the cleanliness was not maintained. This created an unpleasant environment throughout my stay.
2. The breakfast provided was below expectations in terms of quality and variety.
3. I was disturbed by the prevalence of smoking, including marijuana, both inside and around the hotel premises. This significantly impacted the atmosphere.
4. The most concerning issue occurred during check-in on December 4 at 11 PM. The receptionist on duty was outside the hotel smoking marijuana when I arrived. She appeared disheveled, was poorly dressed, and her attitude was unprofessional and unwelcoming.
I believe these issues require immediate attention to ensure a better experience for future guests. Despite these concerns, I hope you can use this feedback to improve your services and the professionalism of your staff.

First the elevator smelled like urine!! The bed was terrible!! It felt like the springs were coming out the bed it made so much noice!! I was on the 4th floor and couldn’t sleep due to all the noise!! I will never stay there again!!

I have stayed here before and have always had a great experience but this time they had construction going on in the hotel and the house keeping people barged into my room twice after knocking once as if the room was already checked out and asked me when i was leaving. The bed sheet smelled like stank feet and especially the pillowcases and we have to place a towel over the pillow just to sleep.

Elevators didn’t work. Rusty water! The tub dirty. Can’t even take a bath or shower. Room floors were dirty. All metal doors to enter rooms, looked like they had been beaten with a hammer! Not happy!

This hotel needed to be renovated more than 15yrs ago. It dark and dirty. Elevators and hallways have mold and grime from years of neglect. The staff is super nice but the condition of the hotel is horrible.

I have stayed here before but this time the rooms were greatly improved with dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave and laminate flooring. Although it advertised a hot breakfast it only supplied a basic selection due to the kitchen and dining area being renovated. Enough to get you by though. Staff were really friendly and helpful and the pool was a welcome relief from the heat.

I went to the shabby windowless dining area to find nothing but sliced white-bread, bagels and cereal, as if i were dining at a State Penitentiary. I wouldnt be suprised if prisoners had better food choices.
