I want to rate this hotel and the whole staff for accommodating us even if we check in after their regular hours. We checked in almost past 1am although their policy was the check in hours is between 3pm and 12mn. I asked for a consideration and favor to one of the staff when I called they asked what time we could arrived and they still accepted us after past midnight. Thank you to all the management of this Hotel.

Walls have little to no sound insulation. I could hear everything from my hotel neighbors. This woke me up and kept me up at night.

Got to the motel about 1:30 PM. Drove up from southern California, so it was a long trip. I asked if I could have an early check-in, as there appeared to be few cars in the drive-way and some empty rooms. I was told "no". I then asked if I could use a restroom and was told that "there are no public toilets" (on the premises). I responded that ,"I will be a customer, soon"> The clerk suggested that I go across the street to a fast food restuarant. I was not happy with that lack of cooperation.

Would not stay again. Poor customer service. Didn’t care that the bathroom sink was clogged and TV had poor reception.

Near a road with a lot of traffic, including noisy modified exhausts. Walls not really thick enough to dampen the noise. Shower water not adjustable temperature. Started out extremely hot finished extremely cold. It was a fairly doable walk to the beach though.

Room was very small and poorly lit. The AC was very loud and musty smelling. Unfortunately the bathroom door did not close all the way so there was very little privacy. Beds were ok, but the floor was dirty. The parking was tight, but the breakfast was adequate.

The hotel from the outdoors looks clean and nice, however the room itself had some things that have not been clean in a while it seemed.

We stayed in a suite. It was big enough for 4 adults, toddler and infant. My only issue was the shower head was leaking from the top and sprayed over the current and soaked the extra TP and my clothes that were sitting on the toilet. It’s definitely an option again. The breakfast options were quality, close to the beach, and decently priced. If you’re staying in Monterey, it’s going to be expensive, so for 1 night, it did the job.

On the day of check in, there was an employee hosing down the hallway right outside our room, which was extremely noisy. I asked to be switched to a different room, but the front desk was rude. He just said they were fully booked and didn’t even apologize. However, the sign indicated that there were vacancies. Also, there were hairs on the bed. I kept calling but no one answered. The only reason that I could think of is the I checked in with my husband with a room with king size bed. The front desk clerk was visibly uncomfortable. I felt that we were being discriminated against by the staff. Overall it was a horrible experience. I wouldn’t recommend it at all.

Solid location, room, and amenities... Mini-fridge doesn't have a freezer compartment, which would've been nice to have, as well as an AC unit where the temperature can be fine tuned VS cold and colder. Cost is a lot better than other places.

The front desk decided to go take a nap and not take the phone with them. They put a sign up to call to check in but didn’t answer multiple calls, or the doorbell for 30 minutes or more. He came out half asleep to check us in…finally. I didn’t expect a fancy room for the price. Really just cared about clean and functional. It isn’t that. The carpet looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed. There was an incredibly thick layer of dirt and hair on less touched surfaces like baseboards, corners and appliances. The shower had mold in every corner and the walls looked a little dingy. The bed bug covers were torn so useless… but fortunately I saw no signs of bugs. The tvs didn’t work right. One wouldn’t change channels and the other changed on its own constantly. A room down the way had a fire alarm going off at 10 minute intervals. Breakfast wasn’t worth the time it would take to eat there. It was a place to sleep and the towels looked clean. If that’s all you need than it should do. Personally I’ll spend an extra $50-$100 and skip this hole.

Property was quiet for my family of 5 easy check in and easy travel to and from the aquarium,wharf and beaches best area to stay where your not too far away from everything traffic Is light in the area beds where comfortable free breakfast was a bit for everyone no complaints will stay again

Hotel ran out of clean towels the second day onsite, to get clean towels took 2 days to receive.
Bed linens were stained and the beds were uncomfortable. Springs were felt when sleeping. No breakfast was served.

Homeless surrounding the property on 3 sides, and guests arguing nightly (3 nights) next door and below us until at least midnight-- with zero hotel staff on site.

I made the reservation for 2 people for 4 nights (8/12 - 8/15) several months in advance for $1,161.20. I called a week before our scheduled arrival to make sure they could give us a ground floor room that I could roll my mobility scooter into. They gave us Room 129, visibly the smallest room in the complex. I could roll my scooter in, but we had to park it in front of the door, otherwise we couldn't move around it. I asked for another room. They said they had no others on the ground floor.This room was uncomfortably small for 2 people, especially with a scooter. They should only assign this room to a single person and not charge full price. We could have gotten something much nicer and larger for the price we paid somewhere else.

The registration host was excellent and very helpful. Check in was a breeze. The hotel is an older building but very clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was not very good. Basically toast and coffee. Don’t base or stay on the free breakfast

I will start for a fact that pictures on the website are extremely deceiving. The rooms are tiny and the smell from mold does not go away with open doors and windows. The bathroom ceiling and walls painted many times to cover the mold. The beds are very worn out and not comfortable at all. The only possible park is that there are great amount of stores and places to eat around the area and the breakfast was ok. They has boiled eggs, frozen Costco waffles which you can toast, cereals, and juices. Extremely disappointing.

Front staff was very friendly, but 100dollars for a deposit is un-necessary. They already have a card on file. No need to charge it up front for no reason.
