The breakfast was great, it had quite a good amount of choices. It carried Bagels, breakfast burritos, cereal, fruit, muffins, juices, & coffee.
The room smelled like cigarettes.

THIS PLACE DESERVES NO STARES! Booked this room on Booking.com the reviews where just ok. BIG MISTAKE!!! We got there and checked in at 4:30 and went up to the room and opened the door and right off the room smelled dirty. We started looking around and it was filthy. The red bedspread was so soiled with black stains cigarette burns and dirty smell also some other stain/splatter running down the side of the bed. The bathroom has urine all down the wall by the toilet. This room was so gross we went to the front desk we do not want to stay, and we want a refund. He said you have to go through Booking .com

Very nice place to stay. Comfortable bed, nice big room. Nice morning breakfast, Bagles Muffins, coffee, juice Burritios and Yogert as well as fruit. Can not complain. Other places don't give you breakfast.So this is a big plus!!
Outside grounds need some care. Over growen weeds in flower bed. As well trash in flower beds.

The breakfast had so much selection; lil muffins, burritos, bagels, yoghurt, juice. The lovely dude on the front desk, such a personable bloke! Room was cosy and quiet and comfy.
Great location for Monterey Bay and Point Lobos. TV had hdmi cable so we could watch movies from our laptop.
The toilet was gross upon arrival... something brown on the seat! Despite this, we still enjoyed our stay

i liked the proximity to cannery row
the area was a little sketchy upon arriving I was entirely sure this area was safe, checked the room and everything seemed okay. I’d say it’s outdated but reasonable with pricing. Got a non smoker room but smelt like BO. Additionally there was no functioning AC, for the sake of the long weekend and hotels being outrageously priced and completely booked I stayed but quite honestly probably wouldn’t stay again.

I contacted booking .com requesting a refund. First night, toilets not flushing, drains not draining. Room had dirty floors, old, substandard in the upkeep. Moved to another room for second night. Room and furniture dirty. Floors filthy. very disappointing. booking . com has not responded in 24 hours as promised regarding a refund. Disgusting. I’m hopeful Booking.com will refund me because if I dealt directly with the property the refund would have happened already.
