Property was very nice, clean and welcoming. Room was just a bit off. Two very uncomfortable chairs to sit on. Balcony overlooked a side street with houses. Almost feel like the room didn’t need to have a balcony as why would you want to sit out there. we went for a basic standard room as we were only there one night but if we were staying longer I would have been very disappointed. Great restaurant on property, highly recommend.

This hotel was amazing. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Everything was so clean even the elevator I noticed the staff cleaning it. It exceeded our expectations and if we stay in Santa Barbara again we will definitely be staying here.

Really comfortable nice, cool & quiet room. Convivial restaurant is excellent as is their staff. Rode bikes from there to other attractions. Will stay again.

This 2-night stay was wonderful. We loved the comfort of the bed and the great size of the bathroom. The restaurant was really good as well. The location was a bit far to walk to State Street but just a quick 8-10 min Uber ride away.

It was a great experince! The only thing was that I called 3 times on Thursday to see if I could upgrade my room for a Sunday reservation. I was waiting on hold for 20 mins when the line cut, got a busy signal the 2nd time and left a voicemail-no one responded to me. We loved the resturant it was great food! So we went back the following day and we waited for 20 mins for a Waiter to take our order. Totally get it was on a monday but we just needed to get our day going. This is still a great place to go! Soo clean and right by the beach which is what we wanted!

I recommend a lounging area for guests other than the pool. There is one very small and outdated lobby, and there is one restaurant with a bar. There is nowhere else for guests to sit, relax, and enjoy the beautiful scenery and converse or read. For those in rooms facing the pool, while the terrace is large, the guests in the pool and restaurant are loud and staring right at you, zero guest privacy. Also the restaurant menu is too limited and specific to be the only dining option.

Great ambiance, friendly and attentive staff, large rooms with large bathrooms. Our deluxe king patio had a view of a back street that was very quiet and private. We preferred this to a pool view. The bed was comfortable.
Only down side was no coffee maker in the room so we brought our own. Also no body wash that wasn't a big deal.

My husband and I stayed here after our courthouse wedding ceremony. The room was big and we had booked an ocean view which was nice, but the hotel had missed that it was our wedding day. Other places I or any of my friends had stayed at would make sure to do something a little extra for such a special occasion but all in all a good stay!

Beautiful property, will definitely go back. The location is right across the street from the beach, nice rooms and pool. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is bc I told them it was our anniversary when I booked and it was never acknowledged at the hotel.

I traveled to the Inn with my wheelchair bound daughter. Our accessible room
wad perfect with a large wheel in shower. Also plenty of room to move her around. The valet staff was exceptionally wonderful and helpful. I will be booking a room there again next year!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Santa Barbara Inn. It was located right across from the ocean and the restaurant had great food and good service and our room was clean and comfortable. Would recommend it to anyone.

Loved my weeklong stay. The room overlooking the pool and beach was so comfortable and amazing. The restaurant is 5-star whether it’s morning latte, scrumptious breakfast or lunch or incredible dinner choices impeccably prepared. I really didn’t have to venture beyond the restaurant for amazing fresh Mediterranean/Italian food and stellar service. Thank you for making my work (writing) holiday so memorable!!

Stayed here for our anniversary and it was perfect -- quiet, elegant, and comfortable. Appreciated having an exceptional restaurant on property. Gym was nicely appointed. Loved our location on the beach which was near State Street, but just far away enough that we weren't bothered by noise and traffic. Would definitely stay here again.

This was our third time at the Santa Barbara Inn. We love the location, proximity to great walks on the beach. The zoo is a wonderful experience as is the botanical garden just a few minutes drive. The dining both inside and out on the beautiful patio is attended by awesome staff serving fantastic cuisine.
