AC didn’t work. Ran out of toilet paper and tissues in the first few hours. Staff not cordial. No rush to bring aforementioned paper products. The beds were like large pillows which you need a pole vault to get in or out of. Pillows are feather. Outdated lobby with conversations of one of two elevators breaking down.

Nice Hotel. Good location. Restaurant is next door, that's good too! Great value! Stay here you will not be disapointed! Excellent Terra Cotta facade also.

Our TV didn’t work neither would our devices connect to the WiFi. The staff were quick to fix both issues, even calling us back to make sure the WiFi was working.

Nice stay in independent, boutique type hotel with beautiful wood furniture and comfortable rooms. Had the smallest room, and was very comfortable. Staff was accommodating and hotel was quiet. Restaurant was top notch.

I had two separate reservations; one for a room for two on October 28th (room 205) and the second for a room for one on October 29th (room 401). I left a shirt in the first room, and I didn’t receive it. This is indicative for the service commitment of the hotel; not high enough. Otherwise, the hotel is nice. This was our first time at the hotel and we loved it. The hotel itself is beautiful and is in a terrific location. Our daughter lives nearby and we will definitely be returning to the Lucerne.

The hotel and the staff were excellent, friendly and helpful.

Nice spacious room and quiet. — but we had a Broken coffee maker and there were No directions for coffee maker No light on beverage bar Asked for coffee pods and brought cups instead Then brought wrong coffee - decaf! No help with where phone charges etc. are and not obvious.

I love the location-it’s quiet and easy access to subway. There are lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The front desk was very responsive to a couple of requests and overall service was very good. Would definitely stay again,

Smallish hotel lacks a few things such as refrigerators in the room but lovely place, solid pleasant staff, good hotel restaurant. One of my favorite parts of NYC and transit rich. Really enjoyable week.

We live staying at the Lucerne. Always a pleasant experience.

My only notes, is the morning of my departure. I went down to the front desk to check out, the door man immediately grab my bag and asked where im headed. I said the airport. He just loaded the luggage and tell the driver to take me. But it's not a complimentary service, is $82. I could have booked a Lyft for cheaper. I was planning on taking the subway and bus to save $. Not shove into a car service with no explanation.

The Lucerne is my favorite place to stay in NYC. The Upper West Side is a great part of the city. We always get a suite with 2 beds. It has a sitting room with a TV separate from the bedroom. Large and comfy for our family of four. Absolutely love walking this area and lots of restaurants in walking distance. They have a car to take you to the airport as well.
