Stay was very nice. Right up to the point when I found a water bug running around on the vanity. Put a coffee cup over him/her and everything was good with the world again

We drove up to the “hotel” (more like a motel 6) and there was absolutely NO lights lit up at the entry. The huge sign was dark and unlit. We didn’t even know if the hotel was open. We then entered the front doors and there was nobody at the desk at 7:50 PM. We rang the bell at the desk. Nothing. We rang it a second and the third time, and someone finally came out of a room and approached the desk. We could see in the darkened room that he came out of that there was a woman lying on the floor sleeping, or who knows what? We told the receptionist at the desk about the light on his sign being out and he seemed unconcerned.
Our room was interesting. The door barely opened because some paint was stuck and was almost impossible to open. Also, the door jam was warped and could barely close again. The bathtub had mold in the corners and there was a disgusting bath mat that was looked to be about 50+ years.
The breakfast in the morning was more like 1 bagel remaining at 7:30 am and beyond that, not much variety. No sweet rolls, no muffins, no eggs. Terrible.
All in all, this was a dive. Won’t go back.

The rooms and the entire property were absolutely disgusting. It smelled of mold and mildew and clearly has had major water issues.

We arrived (exhausted) at the hotel at 11:15pm and were told we could not check in because their computer was down. At that time they said it might be 30 minutes before we could check in. OVER TWO HOURS LATER, at 1:30am, with no resolution in sight, I asked them to PLEASE just give us a room (I had the paid receipt/registration on my phone), but just got a "nah, not gonna do that" so we just got back in the car and kept driving. At this point I've paid for a room I never got. Absolutely the worst hotel experience I've ever had.

The hotel was nice enough but the room windows faced the main street and was EXTREMELY NOISY. perhaps they should replace them with double ones or something?

Hot tub was not hot. Toilet leaked and was never fixed. Did not get maid service whole time I was there. Ceiling above swimming pool was leaking into the pool. Bathtub was slippery when taking a shower. I had to purchase bath mat air conditioner was damaged but worked ok. Back entrance did not lock correctly.

Hope, the afternoon attendant was absolutely fantastic. After a previous stay, a bag of clothing was left at the property. Called twice to recoup items and were told would be available. Upon arriving this time to pick up the bag had disappeared. Spoke with Michael, the GM, on the phone and he called us liars and tried repeatedly to talk over us. The level of disrespect and unprofessionalism from this man is appalling.
